I saw the sacks. They sure as hell did not come in 3+ seconds. They didn’t even come in 2 seconds. Outside of the one on a horribly low snap, they came in under 2 seconds.

And I did not see Justin get the ball to his man late, on any throw that left his hand.
If on a day where he completed nearly 70% of his passes, along with an average of over 9 yards per attempt, his actual throws were were taking over 3 seconds to get out, maybe you should take a more critical look at the play calling, and concepts.
Time to throw is from the snap, until the defender first contacts Fields, in the process of the sack.
You can see the time stamps on the fucking video, in case you’re confused about how long a second is.
Sack at 0:39, low snap, Fields has to drop his eyes, and bend over to prevent a fumble, by the time he gets upright again, the pass rush is already in top of him. Tries to step up, and Van Ness sheds his man and sacks Fields from behind.
Sack 2:50, sacked in less than 2 seconds
Sack at 4:53, sacked in less than 2 seconds
Sack at 4:45, gets hit in less than 2 seconds, breaks free and tries to step up, interior has already broken down, leaving no pocket for him to step up into, and gets sacked immediately .
Sack at 10:35, gets sacked in less than 2 seconds.
Is less than 2 seconds to throw, considered good pass protection?
All sacks came with Fields trying to “tHrOw FrOm ThE pOcKeT”
It doesn’t matter if it’s Williams, or Tom Fucking Brady. With this offensive line, and the play calls, any QB is going to fail.
Watching EVERY SINGLE FUCKING SACK and I can’t put a single one on Fields for “hOlDiNg On To ThE bAlL tOo LoNg”.
Terrible.
Do the same stats for Field's last two seasons, then I'll take this post seriously. Thanks for your insights.Time to throw is from the snap, until the defender first contacts Fields, in the process of the sack.

Jenkins was the worst of the bunch today. And Whitehair playing most of the game didn't help. It even seemed to me that Whitehair played as if he didn't give a f*^k! I can't blame him, I'm sure he knows....'he gone'....C, and RG, and honestly LT looked like a backup. At least Jenkins finished the year with a better track record of health.

Same old excuses and this is 3 years later. It has already been proven over his career that he holds the ball longer than any other QB in the league.
Why can’t you just accept that he’s not very good? It’s been 3 years of this
Jordan love has less talent around him, had played only 1 year and he lit up the Bears and made Fields QB play look amateur
FYI. Fields and Love play out of the same system too.
These are the best laughs I've had since watching Johnny Carson monologues.! And I'm not just talking about today.Knee jerk reactions are fun
These are all true, however my favorites are the 2nd & 3rd ones. A sincere thanks for posting. Many on here have had their minds made up about Fields long ago & refuse to even watch the film when it's put right in front of them.
It's simpler to just want an easy fix of plugging in a new QB, when the issue(s) [PLURAL] to fix are much deeper than that. Coaching should have improved so many things so far, simply hasn't yet. Center position continues to blow chunks (see OP vid for another weekly fix).
Further, the QB School film review from week 1 vs GB pointed out all these same issues debated in this thread and others. Very little change since.
Basic mechanic improvements to make things easier & designed plays to strengths remain absent with this team.
Smart situational play calls are spaghetti against a wall at best with Getsy.
Whatever...I need a break from this site and this team. Gawd, this offseason is going to be insane. I'll leave with a few nuggets, not to be condescending, but to vent over the loud ignorant being so sure of themselves, while the smart don't bother engaging.
OP provides video evidence & some still pile on about throwing faster:

No offense, but you're joking, right?if you combined the powers of Joe Montana, Dan Marino, and Peyton Manning, I don't even know if they could be successful in this offense
The one bad throw he made was the 3rd and 10 RZ throw to Kmet that was almost picked. Kmet broke free from the coverage but Fields tried to throw him a bullet instead of lofting over closer to the back of the endzone. There was no safety there should have been a TD for sure.I saw the sacks. They sure as hell did not come in 3+ seconds. They didn’t even come in 2 seconds. I like the guy too. How could anyone not like Fields as a person? If someone doesn't, it's on them.I hope he does too. I actually really like the guy.
It’s his worshiping fan boys that drive me nuts.
It’s time folks. Move on.
Thanks for this......I read a post earlier, where the poster said there were no routes run under 10 yards for JF......I thought this is Imposible..no one designs plays like that....so I moved on from that post, not wanting to refute it....wouldn't have been worth the time......thanks for my own vindication. lol.So many idiots on this message board are so accustomed to bad quarterback play that they zealously defend mediocrity.
Look at these plays.
At 0:39, the corners bail, the linebacker blitzes, and as a result, Kmet is totally uncovered on the out route, just wide the **** open, and Fields doesn't see it. Yeah, Braxton Jones gets bullrushed right into Fields' lap, but if Fields was a good quarterback, he would have recognized the blitz and coverage, and the ball would be out right here.

At 2:50, it's a 3 step drop and they're sending six pass rushers. The ball has to come out. I don't have the All-22 so I don't know who is or isn't open downfield, but no offensive line in the NFL is going to hold up very long when they send 6, and it's a 3 step drop so this is a play specifically designed to get rid of the ball quickly, but Fields holds it and eats the sack.

At 4:53, the pocket collapses very quickly with only a 4 man rush, which, yes, is bad OL play, and it looks like Fields' first read was Kmet on the dig route, which the safety was going to jump and probably get an interception if Fields threw it, so eating the sack was better than trying to force the ball to Kmet. Nonetheless, DJ Moore was coming wide open for a touchdown on the post route, and a better quarterback would have anticipated it and thrown an easy TD pass to Moore.

At 7:45, they're sending 5 pass rushers against a 5 man protection, which is going to result in pressure almost 100% of the time at the NFL level. The ball has to come out to Roschon Johnson. Fields has to recognize the blitz and get rid of the ball. I don't know if Roschon picks up the first down, but FIelds needs to get rid of the ball and give him a chance.

At 10:35, I agree that sack is 100% on Tevin Jenkins, and there's nothing Fields could have done.
I think a legitimate NFL franchise quarterback would have taken the sack at 10:35 and probably one (maybe 2) of the other 4 because no one is perfect, but taking all 5 sacks in these situations is just unacceptable mediocre QB play.
1st sack, him stepping up to run, not pass, at about 4 sec is what helped create the sack. The DE 'shed' his blocker because the blocker was protecting a different part of the field. He took a couple inside sacks where you might expect him to roll away. I'm not blaming those on him and there's no question that the OL sucked yesterday but he really doesn't have the best feel for pressure. You can't afford him the same consideration as elite pocket passers with rush awareness when he is not one of those. Some of those inside rushes were completely unavoidable but we still had those 3 and 4 sec count sacks.Time to throw is from the snap, until the defender first contacts Fields, in the process of the sack.

This play shows Fields lacks the ability to make anticipatory throws. # 15 was NFL open, he has to throw that ball between the receiver and the sidelines. Fields is just not good at that and is why "there is no place to go with the ball.". Good NFL QB's throw receivers open.
I stopped listening to AB when he said that he thought the defense played wellis it me or are the most vocal justin haterz ex nfl defensive guys??
Alex Brown, Warren Sapp, Leshaun Mccoy, etc?
??WONDER WHY??
