My favorite teams
Who is this “we?”So you think we're set at WR and OL after one game in a hurricane or do you think we/Fields needs to get more talent at both positions?

Every Bears fan knows the team needs more help at Wr and OL. The fact they pulled out that win during a hurricane is a positive sign. Especially against one of the best defenses in the league. So maybe the OL isn’t as terrible as people say and Fields could make those around him better. So you think we're set at WR and OL after one game in a hurricane or do you think we/Fields needs to get more talent at both positions?
And I’m guessing the line is drawn based on which helmet design you prefer.Ryan is now more extreme in his homerism than any other announcer I've ever heard. Being a team supporter and slavish unending boosterism are different IMO.
Apples and oranges. Pointing out that the team you support has made problematic drafting and FA decisions --and an announcer who is incapable of giving ANY credit to the opposition and harps without end on how wonderful his team is are two different things. No I think if you are a Bears fan shitting on the talent around Fields then you can't cry if non-Bears fans shit on the team too.

This is a pathetic thread you got here.
One might suggest that complaining about the announcers of a team you're not a fan of is the very definition of insecurity.Apples and oranges. Have you listened to Ryan? And I’m guessing the line is drawn based on which helmet design you prefer.

Why would I? I do not care about the radio announcers for teams that are not the Chicago Bears.Have you listened to Ryan?
Its not toxic to tell you that you missed the point because you were too busy trying to gotcha someone you dont like.Toxic troll alert
Shocker
Yes...THAT is fucking annoying. I wonder if Pete is thinking...STFU you toolThere's this guy I was listening to that refers to the team he covers as "the beloved". For real, be objective.
Is this on KNBR? I live in the foothills and don't listen to the AM sports radio here. You do know the SCORE is on the Audacy app so you don't have to listen to all of the excuses. All I have heard or read is the refs gave the game to the Bears. Bears were shit.Living in the SF Bay Area, I hear 49er stuff every day. Leading up to Sunday's game, the sheer arrogance of the experts was pretty disgusting. Even after the game, there was absolutely no credit given to the Bears and Justin Fields.
Tim Ryan, the 49er color guy is the most extreme homer. Ironically, a former Bear, every word that comes out of his mouth is slavish praise (and excuses for Trey Lance) for the Niners. I know they're paid to kiss ass, but enough is enough. So this win was really sweet!
Any other folks have experience with homer anouncers?
He's very knowledgeable and good at his job, which is why he's been a Sirius XM NFL host for like 20 years.Have you listened to Ryan?
Because I like NFLfootball and live in the SF Bay Area and am exposed to him if I want to listen to NFL talk when I drive my car. Lots of other anouncers for other teams seem to be much more even handed and I respect them for that. Why would I? I do not care about the radio announcers for teams that are not the Chicago Bears.
Have you ever thought why this is such a big deal for you?
Yeah I had an opportunity to listen to Tim Ryan this pre-season, and I'd subjectively rate him slightly more biased than Joniak. It's not a blow-out, but Ryan sounds like a meatball homer. I honestly turned on a pre-season Niners game not knowing who the announcer was, but it was so bad I was compelled to look up who the awful announcer was.Have you listened to Ryan?

I'm sorry to hear that you're forced to listen to him.Because I like NFLfootball and live in the SF Bay Area and am exposed to him if I want to listen to NFL talk when I drive my car. Lots of other anouncers for other teams seem to be much more even handed and I respect them for that.
Ofcourse. Let's pretend the situations were the opposite. The Bears were coming off a great season and just lost on the road in a rain storm to a bad team from the season before. How would most of us react? That the game was a fluke. No I think if you are a Bears fan shitting on the talent around Fields then you can't cry if non-Bears fans shit on the team too.
So do those arrogant announcers hence why they aren't giving them credit. If you think this team isn't talented then yesterday was a fluke. Hence why you want to see what happens in the next few games because like those arrogant announcers you don't really believe what you saw yesterday was real.
If not FTO IDGAF. Do your worst.I'm sorry to hear that you're forced to listen to him.
Turn the station. Listen to music. Put on a podcast. Jesus Christ, you're in control of the situation and you sit in your car and do nothing.
@nvanprooyen you may as well ban me from this thread. It's only going to get worse from me.
