Rudy *** re-signing for the max, no surprise he was all over that contract. Terrible deal that they'll regret.

Well he did have a career year & was a big part of why the Grizz were in the playoff hunt most of the season. Though I don't see him getting much better than he already is, I'll hold off on calling the deal terrible right now.

Now the Gooden deal, that's near beyond terrible. What the hell was Hammond thinking with that one?

I see *** as the sort of Gordon/Deng type player that's nice to have on around 10 million per year, but if you're paying more than that you should make the tough decision and let them walk.

I knew he'd get bid up given the FA situation this year but damn, opening up with the max straight away is just crazy.

Exactly, the guy is a good player but not near a max guy. All these bloated deals will for sure lead to a lock out.

Dwyane Wade ripped the Bulls for a lack of loyalty, and then showed his loyalty to the Heat by racing into free agency and immediately meeting with the Bulls. Tip to Wade: Shut up and dunk.

That was from the Rosenblog by Steve Rosenbloom...made me laugh out loud...plus he is glad Gordon is gone...

That is why I wanted him as best man when I marry Carol Slezak...

Byron Scott agreed to coach the Cavs. I think Cavs should look to snag CP3 SOON!!! Like tomorrow. Hornets have been flirting with the idea of trading CP3. Byron Scott and CP3 would keep LBJ in Cleveland with Jamison. Good team.

That's what I would do
Duh!

Nothing the cavs have outside of Bron would get them close to cp3.

Surely the only way it's going to happen is if he asks out, they got below the tax which was the reason they were supposedly open to trading him. If they trade Paul they'd lose all the money they save in salary, who would go see them if they traded their star away?

Well looks like Pierce is signing on for 4 years, surely they bring Ray Allen back now no matter what it takes if you're going to commit long term to PP.

JJ reportedly accepted the Hawks deal per NBA.com. I'm going to guess they're not lying to us. JJ is off the market, so you guys can stop whining about possibly getting him...unless it's through S&T. :p

But I was dying to give JJ 6/120.

Chris Duhon proves it's not only Skiles who loves him, getting 4/15 from the Magic to be a backup PG.

It's a bit hard to sympathise with the owners crying poor when they've combined to give a guy like Chris Duhon 36 million dollars.

And on the ex-Bull front, VDN to the Clippers. Will be interesting to see what he can do there.

Absolutely nothing just like Dunleavey. What a waste of a sports franchise.

Ray Allen reportedly back to the Cs at 2/20. Seemed likely all along once Pierce came back.

Well dang, I was hoping we could steal him away if we couldn't get LeBron. Oh well, JJ Reddick or whoever else, here we come.
