Im starting to consider it, how is the Vegas world?
i literally have like 2,039,345 quests right now. arghhh.
And some of the quests aren't even marked as quests. Some will just be notes you get. And then by the time you look in your notes, you'll have forgotten who gave you the note, or where you're supposed to go exactly.
So far the game just feels like a big expansion of Fallout 3, but with better weapons and a lot more missions. Haven't finished yet, but so far the story isn't as good as Fallout 3's. And I miss the voice actors from the last game. Fallout 3 and Oblivion were two of my favorite games ever though, and they used alot of the same voice actors so maybe that's why.
oh yeah, those fucking "notes" are a joke too. so aggrivating! oblivion was the shit.
Oblivion was definitely the shit. I hope to god Bethesda announces Elder Scrolls 5 really soon. I was more ready for another Elder Scrolls than I was another Fallout.
yes, me too. the quests and notes in that game really didnt add up to this huge list of forgotten quests like in fall out. I also love the time period of elder scrolls so much better.
on fallout what is your main strength. i set myself up to pick locks, steal, and melee.
im kinda in the beginning(doesnt feel like it) but you know when you first get into vegas there are those damn robots blocking the gate and you need a credit check to get in or 2000 caps, is there any other way around that? like a passport or key that is hidden?
I have my guy set up for Guns, Science, and Medicine. When I unlock the "Tag!" perk I think I'll tag Lockpick for my 4th skill.
With the gate, the way I understood it when I did it, you either payed the caps, or got an OK from someone to come in. Well I don't know where the guy went that you meet in front of the gate, so I just went up to the robot and did the 2000 caps thing and went in. Then when I got in and checked my inventory, I looked at my caps and he didn't take the caps. Either its a bug, or you don't actually have to pay 2000 caps, but just have 2000 caps.
ok, i got it as well. I did the "king" quest, you know that building that says impersonator? i did all his missions and he sent me to mick and raplhs for a fake passport.
argh i cannot keep up every person i talk to has a new quest for me. im just trying to do a few here and there. the new vegas is pretty sweet.

Dude. Spoilers....
I didn't even know about that. I've been inside The Strip for a while and I just now did the King mission. They just packed too many missions into this game I think. I think I'm near the end of the game (probably not though) and there are quite a few missions that are overlapping. Like you have to complete some in order to do others, or if you do one, it'll result in a failure for another. Right now I'm doing missions inside the Gomorrah casino. Quite a place they have there.
This playthrough I'm picking the NCR side, my next one I'll pick Caesars side, then my third I'm going to attempt the hardcore mode.
