I'm on the land top 2 and draft a QB train, but in Fields defense it seemed clear to me that several downfield throws were affected by his grip. Also, he nailed that throw to Tyler Scott and Scott turned back and slowed down instead of running through it. Shoulda been a game sealer.
That being said, I'm not sure Fields can convince me not to draft one of these highly touted QB's top 2. You just can't pass that up at the cost of giving a bunch of money to Fields when we haven't been shown enough consistently. I think it's possible Fields still pans out, but in this situation you've got to take the gift that appears to be landing in your lap IMO.
