Its been 3 hours since Dribble Drool said remys vortex wont work.
I never said your comment was about a 3-8 team. MY argument was about pressure being on a 8-3 team vs a 3-8 team. That was MY counter argument to you're stupid pressure argument.
And fan expectations has nothing to do with my point at all.. that's just more vortex nonsense from you again..
What's the facts? Mitch was on a playoff team that it was obvious early on that the D was a potential Superbowl caliber D. That puts a lot of pressure on a young QB not to **** up..
Fields does not have that same pressure.
Does Fields have more pressure to score more points? Yes
Does Fields have the advantage of having a better run game taking some of the pressure off him vs Mitch? Yes again
Is it stupid trying to add up all the pressure that both players have to deal with? Also yes.. again it's your argument not mine
Yeah his running ability has created more broken plays where guys are wide open. Nothing wrong with that, but that is not an indication that he is really getting better at the things I listed.
We can all agree that Mitch was not good enough right? So if year 2 Mitch was significantly better then year 2 Fields (other then running) that is a concern. I mean Mitch had 4 times the number of 300 yard games then Fields had 200 yard games.
In today's NFL only having 1 game over 200 yards passing is a huge red flag. This is absolutely a wasted year if he does not work on developing his QB skills.
I’m concerned about points being scored and not yards being tallied30 ppg is a pretty good counter argument, moron
You making up strawman arguments is not going to work. I know how your vortex works Remy, just give up on it.Nope I never tried to add up all the pressure both players faced. I said Mitch had a great D taking pressure off him. That is it. There is no logical argument that a D giving up 17.7 points is worse for a QB than a D giving up 24.9 points.
If you want to argue that Fields had a better run game taking pressure off him I would agree. The stupidity was you saying Fields faced no pressure.

I never said that Fields had no pressure. You again left off the "in that regard" part of my statement, that's like the 3td time you have tried that, you honestly think I'm going to ignore your obvious vortex attempt?
You know I only used Mac Jones to rip on Pace right? I couldn't care less about Jones, is that all you have to defend Fields bad QB play? You honestly think that somehow is a logical argument for anything?Or maybe he can just be a dogshit QB like a Mac Jones and only throw 5yd passes because his arm strength is severely deficient for the NFL level and get outplayed by a 4th Round rookie amirite??
I'll be honest my dude, you not only got caught in the vortex, you got swallowed by it.You making up strawman arguments is not going to work. I know how your vortex works Remy, just give up on it.

I must of missed when the Bears where a playoff team.. are you talking the first few weeks? Again you sure you want to make the argument that fields played like a bust when the Bears where still "technically" in playoff contention in the first few weeks? LolExcept he did face pressure in that regard as I already explained. So it is still a stupid statement.

That just is more ammo for BR to rip on fields
@Black Rainbow Remy admitted that fields sucks when playoff pressure was technically there in the beginning of the season, I guess Remy has no faith in Fields when the games actually matter.
Myself, I won't be fooled again. I have no problem saying I'm wrong about Fields...when he proves to be a good passer in a passing league. Cutler got me the first few years. I will not cheerlead a running QB because I firmly believe it is unsustainable in the modern NFL.I must of missed when the Bears where a playoff team.. are you talking the first few weeks? Are you now trying to make the argument that the Bears at 3-8 are actually a playoff team? really? We lost 6 games by one score. We also had 6 games where the D gave up 27 or more points.
We should have won against Commanders but Pettis and Mooney could not come down with TD balls. Should have won at Miami but refs failed to call PI and ESB dropped a great pass on 4th down. Should have won at Detroit and Atlanta. That would make us 7-4 right now.
So again your premise is wrong.

I see a lot of posters turning on their principles because Fields plays for the Chicago Bears. I have heard on this very forum multiple times before Fields got here how the NFL is a passing league and we need to get with the times.
...but here we are arguing why a running QB is elite...?
Are you now trying to make the argument that the Bears at 3-8 are actually a playoff team? really?
Look, when the day arrives that Justin Fields is a premier passer in this league - I as a Bears fan - will completely admit it and move on.No dumbass. I am making the argument that as the games are being played the players clearly are playing to win and believe that they are a playoff caliber team with all the pressures that come with it.
Hence the disappointment and frustration when they lost. That is part of the reason why they are NFL players and you remain a couch potato. You dont have the mentality and drive necessary to be an elite athlete.
This is why Fields said he doesnt care about what the fans think. He is playing the game because he wants to win for those guys in the locker room so he will always believe that every year he is playing for a playoff caliber team. Hence why he apologized when he felt he faiked them. You just dont get it and likely never will.
This time next Saison I expect your apologize.Look, when the day arrives that Justin Fields is a premier passer in this league - I as a Bears fan - will completely admit it and move on.
That day hasn't happened yet.
I will open a thread "OFFICIAL *** BR was wrong about Fields" and take the beating. But Jay Cutler fooled a lot of us.
And I will. This time next Saison I expect your apologize.

Fields acts nothing like Cutler; from personality to how he is on the Field.Look, when the day arrives that Justin Fields is a premier passer in this league - I as a Bears fan - will completely admit it and move on.
