Trevor Simeon is a back up for a reason, but he did help illustrate that reading the D, processing quickly, throwing guys open and getting the ball out quick are what needs to be done and what Fields needs to work on.

Yeah his running ability has created more broken plays where guys are wide open. Nothing wrong with that, but that is not an indication that he is really getting better at the things I listed.

We can all agree that Mitch was not good enough right? So if year 2 Mitch was significantly better then year 2 Fields (other then running) that is a concern. I mean Mitch had 4 times the number of 300 yard games then Fields had 200 yard games.

In today's NFL only having 1 game over 200 yards passing is a huge red flag. This is absolutely a wasted year if he does not work on developing his QB skills.

He is getting better at what you listed though. You're just football challenged

not really, his average for his throwing production is not much different His first 6 games he averaged 144ypg passing, the NE game was where everything took off and the NE game and beyond he is averaging 154ypg, the biggest help is he started running more. Thats the biggest difference. His running has opened things up and made getting TD easier because he can just run it in. But he is going to have a short career if he doesn't figure out the QB position, This is the perfect year to figure it out. we are garbage so who cares, use this year to actually develop his QB skills

If this OL can give Trevor enough time to make a read and deliver the ball (in the general area lol ) Then Fields can as well.

His passer rating has shot up 20 points overall from the 1st 6 games. Not sure what games you're watching. You been stuck in Mac Jones mode?
