OK, the A-10 gun and the Predator gun are NOT the same gun. One is much bigger. The complete A-10 system weighs around 4,000 pounds.

I was at Lossiemouth between Inverness and Aberdeen for a while. There were Tornado F3's at RAF Leuchars , Fife too.

Yeah we used to go to the air show at Leuchars every year. The old Vulcan bomber did a routine, that was another loud plane. The Harrier would stop and bow to the crowd after it's little show. And of course the Red Arrows, who are still the best at what they do imo.

So I am a 130 guy, including the new AC-130J model, since I have worked on em my entire career, but I completely agree on the warthog being one of the baddest ******* out there. Funny thing is though, I am going through a 3 week AFSOC course and have a ton of AC-130 and reaper pilots in the class and there is an almost unanimous hate for the A-10 platform by almost all pilots in the special ops world. I have no freakin clue why, but they went on a rant the other day about them and just didn't believe they were worth much of shit out in the field.
