So, lets have a little story time. What was your first fight story? Im from the South. We were taught to knuckle up if we had to and fight. I read all these bully stories and I sometimes wonder why kids arent taught to do this. Im not talking being a **** head and fighting to hurt random people. Im talking about protecting yourself and letting no one step on you.

My first real throw down was 13. This kid smashed a cake on my friends head and he was a smaller kid. I didnt like it and this dude thought he was a beast. I remember him coming to our table and he said we had to throw his whole tables trays away for a year or he would beat us up. I stood up and said no. He got mud and and said yes you are and I just hit him. We go flying into tables and Im not going to lie. I destroyed him. He was a big pussy. I do not promote violence but I taught my nephew everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. Whats yall story? Lets share some laughs. I feel like kids now a days need to learn that sometimes you have to handle things with fist to stop the non sense. Im going to leave yall with a song.

some 13-15 yr old was being a bully at the park and pushed my 6yr old friend off the merry-go-round pretty hard.. so i did what any 5 year old does, i walked up to him and spit in the guys face. he picked me up and body slammed the shit out of me and left... i cried after i could finally breath again... dude didnt hold back for sure

a week later, i saw where he lived as we drove home.. at least i thought he lived there..he was playing under a carport... anyway we got home and i got one of those long tomato stakes from the shed and went to his house.. i beat the shit out of that kid with the stick..i got in a good 10 swings, legs to head... i remember being yelled at and chased off by someones mom, probably his.. much like taco, i never saw that kid again..

idk if one would classify that as a fight though..

since idk if the above is considered a fight, ill add my next experience with getting my ass kicked.

a year later, i stopped by the same park after school... for some reason i had the urge to throw rocks at other kids walking home from school.. i dont remember how many kids i threw rocks at, but i remember several kids running away though. eventually i threw a rock at the wrong kid... he was probably 8 and was pretty big compared to me. i remember him warning me to stop... but i didnt... finally he said if you throw another rock at me im going to punch you in the face... so i threw another rock.... he then rocked me in the nose.. it was a gusher.. i bled and cried all the way home.. now id like to say i never threw a rock at anyone else, but that would be a lie... however, i never threw a rock at innocent bystanders minding their own business.

this was the 80s... we eventually became friends...thats what we did back then i guess..

i think it was more about life teaching me wisdom rather than just being in a normal fight though.. because life let me pass this lesson i learned on to some other kid when i was in the 5th grade... we were playing kickball during PE and every time this kids team would kick the ball, he thought it was really funny to throw a rock at us defenders at the same time.. he eventually hit me and i walked over there and whooped his ass.. i remember throwing his face off the chain link fence so hard at one point...he had imprints of that diamond pattern from the fence on his face.. i got two weeks suspension for that passing of the flame...

i fought a lot growing up..

I was about 10ish and this kid pissed me off during recess so I took his leg out and he fell on his back and I sat on top of him punching him in the face repeatedly while 20 other kids circled us to watch.

Come to think of it, I might have invented ground and pound.

I was a freshman in high school when I got in to it with a junior named Chris.
I remember he had a full beard. He beat the **** out of me.
Broke nose, broke teeth, bruised ribs. I remember hoping it would stop but the crowed just kept egging him on.
He hit me so hard my vision went blurry. I looked like I'd been in a car crash.
All because I got his spot on the varsity jazz band. I was a better drummer, he took offense.
I don't think he was a great fighter, but 80 or so pounds and puberty made the difference that day.
Second worst beating I ever took but it was the first one.
I remember my Mom cried when she saw me. I was afraid to tell my Dad who did it, so I never did.
I was afraid for Chris if you can believe that.

Why didn't you get revenge?

The first month of my freshman year it seemed like I got my ass kicked everyday because of my smartass mouth. I was in study hall when a senior hit me in the face and broke my glasses. He walked over to another table and sat down while having a good laugh. I grabbed the biggest book on the table, walked behind him and hit him in the face as hard as I could. Knocked him out of his chair and started kicking him. Probably got in 9 or 10 kicks before being pulled away. Nobody fucked with me again. The teacher let me off because he started it.

And the origin behind the thread locker surfaces!

Here is my story

During the summers we played baseball from 8am to 9pm with hardly any rest. In one of our pick up games there was a Mexican kid. We didn't know his name so we called him Taco and he didnt seem to mind. Taco was a goofy motherfucker. Decent player but always out of control. He's on second and I'm catching. Single to left and a play at the plate. The excitment increased as the ball was racing against the runner. Taco goes into a head first slide as I catch the ball. But just a little problem for Taco as he came up 10 feet short of home plate scrapping his face in the dirt. I tagged him on the head. Then Taco and I threw down. We never saw Taco again.

That seems oddly familiar, good story regardless.

I never really had to fight. My brother and older cousins were freaking crazy and everyone knew it so no one messed with me. I tried to fight a guy in high school because he stole $5 from my car when I gave him a ride home. He gave my money back and said he wasn't looking for a fight.

But there was a guy that was a prominent drug dealer that would basically come to school to deal. He called my brothers girlfriend one time trying to hit on her. My brother saw him at school the next day, grabbed him by the throat, slammed him against the wall and told him if he ever called her again he would kill him. After that, people didn't mess him much and they knew I was his brother.

I don't have to fight cause my size is imposing. I was a powerlifter for 20 years and a Div1 football player. I once had an employee complain to HR that he was scared of me because "he is so physically large". However, I did have an ex-wife that used to hit me while I laughed at her then she would give me her famous double flying middle finger

How about the first time I talked my way out of an ass kicking?

Senior year in HS eating lunch with friends, this kid walks up to our table, I recognize him as a kid from our neighborhood and I'm aware of him only because I dated a girl that was friends with his sister, no other connection. He was one year younger than me, but the most obvious thing about the guy was that he lives at the gym, Junior in HS ad he was huge. He looks at me and says "lets fight" I asked why, he said because back in 2dn grade in the school cafeteria I stole his butter. Everybody at my table cracks up laughing, this is not helping. I'm like can I get you some butter now and we call it even? My friends laugh even harder, this big dude is fuming now. I ask him if he has been training for this moment of revenge, not just working out but learning how to fight? He says yes that he's a black belt or some shit. This was in 1974/5 so it was way before the movie The Princess Bride but this was clearly his Inigo Montoya moment.

Only replace "killed my father" with "stole my butter". I was a good fighter, but this guy was obviously going to destroy me. So we have a 10 minute walk to get off school grounds, that gives me 10 minutes to erase an obsession, this guy had been working for 9 years for this moment. I asked him about the big butter theft moment, "was I just picking on you because you were younger?" ""yes" "I made you look bad in front of your friends?" "yes" "so I was being a bully, a dick?" "yes". I explain that was so long ago, I've changed, I don't pick on weaker people anymore (this was before I met TBD here). I'm weaker than you right now, won't you just be as bad as me if you kick my ass now? All that hard work only to become the thing you hate most, is that what you want?

It worked, I actually talked him out of it. Came back to the lunch table unscathed, my friends all say, so you talked him out of it, I say "no I kicked his ass" more laughter.

I used to mix it up daily with my older brother or his friends, so I do not recall my first fight.

However, we had a pretty neat 2 fight series between a couple guys in high school. ( I only witnessed the second)
Early freshman year, there was a fellow Todd who was kind of a dick and this fellow Tom who was a pudgy, blend in to the wall kind of fellow.
Todd fancied himself a bully and picked on Tom. bumping him in halls, calling him names and whatnot.
One day, Tom must have had enough- when Todd went to shoulder bump him walking the other way, Tom did as well- He outweighed Todd, and Todd was the bumpee.

Well, Todd didnt like this. He dropped his books and got in Toms face, pushing and shoving and name calling and whatnot. Tom looked terrified, but respectably did not back down. He half-heartedly put his fists up and put his head down and began advancing. Todd threw a big right at Toms face, Tom ducked his head, Todd connected directly with the crown of Toms forehead and snapped a bone in his hand... went down in a pile and cried like a baby.
That incident I did not see.

Towards the end of the year, Todd is out of the cast and starts up again on Tom. One day, the shoulder nudge incident repeats itself.
Todd turned around quickly and Jumped Tom from behind, trying to get him in a full nelson.
Tom did the only thing he could think of- Reached behind him and grabbed the leg Todd was using for leverage behind the knee, and teetering backwards.
They both fell, and Tom landed hard on Todd, got up and turned back- only to see todd laying there twitching and unable to draw breath.
End result- Todd collapsed a lung.
