Where do you think MHJ will be drafted?

A trade down AND selecting MHJ seem mutually exclusive.
I honestly feel you don’t trade down at all. I say you trade for Washington’s or New England’s 1st round pick this year.

Justin, 2025 2nd round pick, and 2024 4th round pick for Washington’s or New England’s 2024 1st round pick.

Or

Justin, Jaylon Johnson, and 2025 4 round pick for Washington’s or New England’s 2024 1st round pick.

Bears draft:
Caleb
MHJ
9th pick Bowers or best center available.

Who wouldn’t like this offense below with a new OC?
Caleb Willams
Khalil Herbert
DJ Moore
MHJ
Cole Kmet
Bowers or best rookie center
Darnell Wright
Braxton Jones
Tevon Jenkins

32 fumbles in 36 games? That’d be an improvement.

Imop, there is no one in this draft equal to what a trade down will bring you. Trade the fucking pick, grab MHJ build the damn team. Pick up a QB later on...other teams have found gold late. If your team is good enough you won't need another Brady to get where you need to go.
Agree and I've said it before....trade down is the route......

I think he made some understandable points, especially regarding his emotional makeup, his grit, maturity and all that---because I'm not sure that can really be measured in a way where anyone can predict the future with it in the NFL.

But then he says this:

The expectations alone will cause him to be a bust

Okay, anyone who wrote that, if they are being serious, I don't take seriously.

3. Time to throw ⎯Pro Football Focus recorded Williams at 3.44 seconds in 2022 and 3.21 seconds in 2023. Williams was sacked 63 times (2022-2023). Only seven NFL QBs are over 3 seconds (NEXT GEN STATS). Bears’ QB Justin Fields was the slowest (3.23 seconds). Fields was sacked 99 times (2022-2023).

I wonder that the comparison between QBs like Mahomes and Allen and even Stroud when you looked at their 'time to throw' averages in college and the NFL.

I would assume their Time to Throw stat in college was in the 3 second universe too, but I'm curious about that.

I’ve watched a handful of YouTube video highlights with rap music and I can say with a low degree of certainty that Caleb Williams may or may not be overrated
Who were the rappers and/or groups?
Bet he gets coal on Festivus.
You know he loses the feats of strength.

It is a percentage game, nobody knows if any college QB is going to be a franchise QB in the NFL, nobody. If Poles trades JF1, and drafts Williams, and it doesn't work out, all the Bears have left is whatever picks they got for Fields. Certainly, the vast majority of fans commenting in sports blogs (that includes me, of course) have less than no idea which college QBs will be a hit. I think the Bears can win with JF1, so if Poles decides to throw a Hail Mary on a new QB, he better have someone catch that pass in the end zone, or his goose is cooked in Chicago.

Lol. It's fair to say that he's underperformed. It's not fair to call him a bust. Justin Fields is going to start in the NFL next year. A bust wouldn't be starting in year 4.

The anti-Fields cult is hilarious. Can't even have an objective discussion with these 🤡🤡🤡
