I gotta stand up for tbo on this one. It's cool to be an American and all. I love our country.

Every day we should be patriotic, we don't need a special day.

And I don't want to be seen as the country that gets drunk and blows stuff up. Not a great image.

Yea, like ive said before...I love this country, im not badmouthing it at all. I am lucky to live here, and I like living here

I never implied you couldn't express it or felt that you shouldn't.

You're missing the point................

You never really "disagreed" with anything I said. You just said saying things is a freedom....which it is...but it really doesn't address the original point

It's not some nonsensical special day although that's seemingly what most of the country acts like it is.

Independence days for all nations are the only real holidays that ought to be so culturally special.
