The very reason he tried to detain those subjects was the very reason he should have waited for back-up. 3 males walking down the street in Chicago early on a business morning could very well be heading for the nearest bus stop. However, those same 3 men in a place like Fox Lake would arouse suspicion.

Suspicion that turned out correct, only how in hell are going to check 3 guys for weapons by yourself?...you don't.

These 3 will get caught b/c 3 people can never keep their mouth shut for very long.

An hour ago there was word one got caught, turned out to be untrue.

There was also someone reporting that the cop was responding to an armed robbery.. I heard that on wbbm. Dont know if that is true, but if that is true, then he did screw up chasing them in to the woods.

hell, for all we really know, it may have been his own gun that was used- most reports say his is missing... but again, who knows?

Truth is that most conservatives believe in the rule of law while democrats endorse sanctuary cities, sanctions on cops(see NYC), condemn the profiling of suspects, wire-taps of suspects. The dogs didnt get them early, that means they won't.
With no description, they can only hope that one of the security cameras around there picked em up at some point... maybe local bars or gas stations.
If they were trying to break in to a place, maybe they will get fingerprints... but it is still unclear as to why the officer confronted them.
Did he see em walking and stop em just because? Did he see them messing with something, and maybe radio that information in before pursuing them?

One can only hope that there was some sort of conversation on record about the 3 guys before the mention of pursuit.

Without that, the options for catching them are-
Hope they are dumb enough to skip town, and people who know them are smart enough to put 2 and 2 together
Hope they are dumb enough to brag about it and someone turns em in.
Hope one of them is caught with the gun they stole.
Hope someone remembers seeing them wandering around the area and can identify or at least describe them.

Asswipe, I already have been in position where I needed cops to help me and not a single one of those fucktards could be bothered. Cops are always there when you don't need them and rarely if ever around when you do. That still has dick to do with the reality that once someone shoots a cop, all bets are off. Those people will most likely end up being "captured" dead.

I cannot confirm this anywhere in any of the stories, but a buddy of mine is saying there WAS a car with temp plates involved in the situation.

If that is the case, they can track the tag and get fingerprints galore, along with who knows what else.

I have suspected all along they are local residents, who immediately split up and made a bee line to their respective living establishments.
