It wasn't a "teen band". We played mostly bar, festivals like "taste of xxxxxx", Arlington Park between races, Wrigley after batting practice...we were in our 20's.

I don't think there was a high speed chase, the version I heard was a 911 call was received about 3 suspicious looking guys on foot near a wooded area, upon arriving, the responding officer pursued the 3 into the woods on foot and was ambushed. So there may or may not be something on the dash cam.

Equipment designed to record crucial evidence should be used at all times by officers when responding/exiting their vehicles.

He saw something when he pulled up, yet we have no mention of any camera footage at all.

If footage existed, I think they would have told us by now it contained no evidence.

From what I hear, he was literally on his way to work- not even on the clock- and spotted the guys. Who knows what the real impetus of the chase was.

What i can say is they are really beating the bushes for some sort of possible visual- I am currently at the mobil station on adams and rollins, about a 1/4 mile from where it went down, and there are currently 2 officers behind the counter watching video footage on the stations cc system.

They found the cops gun very close to the body- but they have yet to specify if he was killed with his own gun or if the 3 guys were carrying.
The longer it takes to come out, the fact that they didnt say if the gun had been fired or not, leads me to believe (all speculation and could be complete bullshit on my part) that he may have been a victim of his own weapon.
