I will miss him, but maybe he will get a chance to play more and develop there.

I'm guessing one of them is that they've come to terms with Niemi....maybe Hammer too?

Reasoner. Frazer was scratched in the end for Madden, remember?

Fraz was gone either way.

Well, since we'll now need a replacement for Torchetti that makes sense.

But Madden's gone probably, too, right Ron? So what do we have for depth at center? Bolland is horrible at the dot. We have Toews, Sharp, Reasoner....and that's it, correct?

Bolland can work on it, he was KEY in shutting down the Sedins, Thornton and Richards. Sorry he's a VERY GOOD Center.

Toews, SHarp, Bolland, Reasoner and Dowell. Thats depth yes. It's four centers. Sharp can play either position.

Hopefully he gets some ice time in Ed, gets to see the Nucks a lot more. Hope he antagonizes Burrows for us.

I have to admit that I am disappointed in the Fraz trade.

I liked Fraser but guys like him are a dime a dozen in the minors. The fact that we got a 6th round pick for a guy who we probably weren't even going to resign anyways is good enough for me.

Bolland is a very good center, with his only bad spot being faceoffs. Faceoffs can be worked on and improved pretty easily. Just has to make that his focus.

...sometimes center does not need to be awesome at the f/o when the line controls the play anyway.

I do agree that he can work on the the f/o% a bit, and I also wonder how much was from not playing a full season and a back that most likely was not 100%.
