He just posted a pic of a kid in a Bears bib. I assume it's his. Is that the sign for "I signed with the Bears"?

Twitter's confusing.

It probably is.

Or else Mason's just doing it to stress out his other suitors. Wouldn't be unlike him...

Now that he's signed, can we start talking about how much we fucking hate the guy?

Have to wait till he blows out his knee celebrating a meaningless sack first.

Pace has really had an excellent FA haul. McPhee was a great signing and Jenkins, McDonald and Foster are all value starters. Rolle may not be the same as he once was but he is an upgrade over Conte. Royal is a solid slot WR.

Still don't love trading Marshall for a tuna fish sandwich but I can live with it considering the signings he has made to fix the D and supplement the O.

I'm not a cap guy. Are we out of money for FAs now?

Hopefully Pace can lure Wis here. The way this Foster thing played out is annoying lol. I couldn't care less that he signed here

Id feel alot more comfortable drafting a WR with the 1st pick after these signings. Great additions.

I can't conclude that Pace has done anything good or bad yet, the paper signings don't mean shit - let's evaluate him as a GM after we have some on-field results.

No one has learned from our celebrated paper champ gm emery yet lol

We can't speculate on field results just yet. But what I can evaluate from this is he set us up to not be desperate for any one player on draft day so can go in pretty much any direction the board falls for us. Which is also good cause desperate teams often have to trade up losing even more assets

Sure there's money left. Jenkins and McDonald are rumored to be minimum or close to it. Cant imagine Foster got more than 3.5. I would expect less than 5-6Mil toward the cap spent today.

3 very good signings today. All low risk-high reward signings that beef up our front 7, this defense is starting to look somewhat respectable now with the talent and Fangio running it.

I think Pace/Groh (WR coach) want one of Cooper, White or Parker in this draft because they will truly be BPA at our draft position. Those 3 guys have the makings of #1 receivers in this league while some of those pass rushers are really raw and have significant weaknesses. I don't think the Bears will want to roll with Jeffery, Royal and Wilson as our top 3 wideouts.
