I never understood the correlation between Lance Briggs BBQ and being fat. There are a lot worse things you can eat than red meat to make you fat. It's not like he franchised a Dunkin Donuts.

I could care less about what happened last year. Do you think Pace is sitting there crossing off all the WR's on his big board because there were no star WR's in the superbowl? Do you realize how dumb that sounds?

wr value it trending down, its not hard to see.

If you eat a lot of anything you can get fat.

I know that. You could get fat if you are enough Broccoli.

I am just saying, most people that are fat are not that way from eating too much meat. It's from refined carbs such as high fructose corn syrup, alcohol, flour, wheat... Pretty much your sweets, pastas and beers.

Im sure Pace knows by now a record breaking passing offense dont mean shit without a defense or running game. So looking at the Bears roster there is no way a receiver is #1 on the big board especially one that has a good chance of being in major competition and will likely see 30 catches his rookie year.

White and Cooper aint Becham and Mike Evans or Benjamin cant help Jay Cutler. What helps the Bears is defense, defense and power running. Royal, Bennett, Forte, Jeffery, Wilson are more then capable on passing downs.

Why do you hate broccoli?

Yeah we can't have a rookie WR using this year as a learning year, jeopardizing our superbowl run.

Are we developing players at #7 so they can leave in 4 years. As much as people are on White and Cooper jock competition is stiff for them in Chicago for targets and a hand off QB.

T probably play right away on the Right side.

OLB comes in right away and gives us more weapons.

Corner makes us 3 deep with Fuller looking like the real deal.

WR will be fighting for reps and targets and when he gets his reps he doesnt have much of a QB throwing it to him.

It is what is known as a 'joke.' I am told that some people like jokes.

There's tons of High Fructose Corn Syrup in that BBQ sauce they use. Plus if you're at a rib joint you're likely drinking beer or pop as well.

Nor were there any OLB, DT, DE, T, G, C, etc. Bad point.

your right, I should rephrase that. of all the position groups on the field, WR had the least amount of talent/big names.

Well Okung was the 6th overall pick in the draft and we are all familiar with Solder. Many of us wanted the Bears to draft him he went in the middle rounds.

Centers and Guards you can exclude that position they rarely get drafted in the 1st round.

DE definitely can help get you there.

Awfully small sample you're pulling from... the year before, the Broncos were in the Super Bowl. They had a legit #1 WR...

yes they had 1 not 2.....and they got humiliated by seahawks.

my whole point to any of this is....we are in good shape at WR.......everywhere else were pretty fuct, so It just dosent make sense to me to draft a WR, with are 1st pick, when we are in such terrible shape every where else.
