It was basically to see how shallow chicks are... which wasn't unknown before, but we still wanted to see.

I made a fake profile with fake pictures of an average looking guy. I made myself seem really interesting and when messaging girls, I talked about something they wrote on their profiles to show my interest.

He made a fake profile with fake pictures of a guy that would be considered very good looking by most women. He put next to nothing on his profile and basically messaged chicks saying "Yo" or "Hey sexy ;P" even when the girls specifically said "Don't just write 'hey'"

Within 5 days, I received ONE message from a girl that was very unattractive. I messaged a total of 70 women and only 2 responded.

Within 5 days, he received 58 messages. He contacted 89 women, and 82 responded. He was able to get 46 to agree to meet with him after only a few messages. The ones that said they were looking for a relationship, he told he was looking to just hook-up. Most of them were fine with that and were up for it.

We wound up telling the chicks that we were just messing with them and the account with the good looking guy was deleted haha.

So basically... if you're an average looking dude or less than average, you've got almost not shot in hell in the online dating world. Well, not with anyone good looking anyway.

I thought the "about me" section was pretty useless. I don't think anyone even looks at that shit. They just go through the pictures to see if the person is good looking or not.

You must have been doing something wrong then. I'm pretty average looking and while probably less than half of the ladies I messaged responded, it was a lot more than two out of 70. Probably at least a third get back to me.

I can only speak from the years I dated and that's been quite a while. I have found that women tend to gravitate to the guys they think can provide for them the best..That old statement about an average looking guy with money gets the hot chicks..That was the case when I was dating. Women are all about getting taken care of.. They can learn to love a plain man that treats em right and provides for them a whole lot easier than they can love a handsome man that's gonna cheat on em and treat em like shit. They're all about securing a long term place for themselves...

Yup, I work with women salespeople that make 300-600K every year. They are incredibly bright and certainly not dependent on any man. I was telling my wife about one that I would hate to be her husband as I'll guarantee she dominates any man

I dont see them with particularly good looking men but men that are also bright and successful.
