It was basically to see how shallow chicks are... which wasn't unknown before, but we still wanted to see.
I made a fake profile with fake pictures of an average looking guy. I made myself seem really interesting and when messaging girls, I talked about something they wrote on their profiles to show my interest.
He made a fake profile with fake pictures of a guy that would be considered very good looking by most women. He put next to nothing on his profile and basically messaged chicks saying "Yo" or "Hey sexy ;P" even when the girls specifically said "Don't just write 'hey'"
Within 5 days, I received ONE message from a girl that was very unattractive. I messaged a total of 70 women and only 2 responded.
Within 5 days, he received 58 messages. He contacted 89 women, and 82 responded. He was able to get 46 to agree to meet with him after only a few messages. The ones that said they were looking for a relationship, he told he was looking to just hook-up. Most of them were fine with that and were up for it.
We wound up telling the chicks that we were just messing with them and the account with the good looking guy was deleted haha.
So basically... if you're an average looking dude or less than average, you've got almost not shot in hell in the online dating world. Well, not with anyone good looking anyway.
