Despite some of the things I'll say, long-term Cutler fanboy here.

To me, it's frustrating as hell that it took so long to get this Jay Cutler to play for the Bears. There was a glimpse of it in 2011 prior to his injury, but I think this particular Cutler model is even better than that one.

Part of me feels like it's an indictment on Cutler that he needed what seems to be the perfect OC to bring this type of play out of him. Or perhaps credit goes to Cutler finally "getting it" and changing some aspect of his approach that has led to him playing like this. More film study? More playbook study? Better communication between Cutler, the coaches, and the other offensive players? Hard to pinpoint exactly what it is. And, of course, there is the concern about what happens to Cutler's play should Gase leave town.

But the Bears have a quarterback playing pretty well right now, and it's about goddam time, because I'm loving every second of it.

No doubt Gase is putting him a position to limit mistakes while still playing to his strengths. But it has been suggested that Jay needed to be humbled (by last year's disaster) to become a better QB.

I never see Mongo do any All 22 breakdowns when the Bears win, or of positive Bears plays.

Name a play and I'll be happy to.

Sadly, many of you dumb fucks don't even know how much of a fan of the team winning I actually am....

When Cutler plays great and helps us win, I am the first to say so.

Good memory.

Yes, I was one of the Ortong guys.

What I'm seeing right now is what I was hoping to see from cutler when the Bears traded for him.

Now I want to see him go up to Lambeau and play like this

That's honestly all I've ever wanted from Cutler. Whip Green Bay's ass offensively, through good decisions and playmaking, because that usually (historically) means the Bears are going to be a playoff contender. I don't want to see him luck into shit (see 2010 NFCC game). Meatball shit aside, when the Bears can treat GB like a bitch, they can treat anyone that way. That's what I believe gets lost in that rivalry, and why some of us harp on him not being able to beat them.

No one can answer the question why would he leave? He's had offers but turned them down. So just saying he'll be a head coach doesn't make sense.

To be a head coach and make significantly more money. It's not complicated.

Really, and all he cares about is the money? He declined the 49ers job because he wanted Fangio. That would leave me to belive he wants more than just the money. And what happens if he has a terrible gm or terrible defensive coordinator and gets fired a few years later? He'll never see that type of money again. Reading into what martz had said about him, he wants a perfect situation and will wait for it. But you think it's that simple, money?

I hear you there. Even when the Bears were strong in the 80s the Pack would play them tough.

Sans a few years since then, the Pack have been pretty dominant.

Lot of good to chose from. I'm on a fucking high right now. We demolished that team on their turf.

Looking forward to next week.

Like I said, let me know a play you want. Happy to post it.

I guess the Langford play would be nice because I would like to see the reason Cutler made the check pre snap. I can't remember if the LB's showed thier hand early on the Blitz or if Cutler made the check for another reason.

I have had no problem waiting for Jay to reach his potential. And I'll continue to wait if he continues to improve.

Part of it is because I like him, but a lot of it is also because of the current QB landscape in the NFL.
