I really think his pocket precense has been an even bigger improvement than the turnovers. He seemed to be so unaware of the pressure since about the 2011 season. Now it seems like he's feeling it better and sliding to the left or the right.

This. Even with a terrible offensive line, he has been moving in the pocket to get 3 seconds to throw. Without that presence this season, the sacks and ints are a lot higher.

I'm eating crow myself. I'm not a Cutler supporter for at least 3 years but honestly he has looked different and considering that right now that both defense and offense are trending up we really have a small shot in making some noise. I just would love to see him beat the Pack so the monkey is off his back

You are a hater. Some of us sad he wasn't as bad as you made him out to be and the Bears can win with him and because.

And he's proving it week in week out. If it wasn't for D collapse, these guys would be 6-3

Lol you're insufferable. When QBs make bad plays. People have the right to be critical. This goes for any position really. Stop being a meanie to my Cutty!

You're starting to strike me as the type of fella who does his lines of blow off of the season 1 box set of Dawson's Creek.

You know I actually know and have hung out with him... right?

Btw, the D has allowed only one TD in each of the last 4 games.

This isn't Cutler v the D.

The coaches are now putting together a well coached COMPLETE team. Cutler will make mistakes- many of them. So will the D. So will ST's.The key is that the whole team is now playing to win.

In fact, even after the first drive today, I actually kinda felt a sense that the Bears not only only played to win, but that they EXPECTED to win.

Lol yea you've said you've met him at charity functions. That's awesome. And said wasn't a bad guy. Fact is I still firmly believe he's a qb

I think most of us can enjoy his recent play at the QB position.

I thought it was his best game.

That Dline was bringing it. he took some hits. Made greta decisions. Did not go full Special person on one receiver. made great pre-snap and post-snap reads. Checked well. Never tunnel visioned.

He was a fucking machine today.\

I suspect he will be in play for OP of the Week.

Deservedly.

Mango, I admit man, I had you pegged as a biased Cutler hater. But you've proven me wrong in that front. I know I'm biased in regards to Cutler (I always liked him), but I'll be reading your posts in the future with more care. Anyways, great game, great day. Let's forget all our differences for one day and just enjoy it (Despbro too) lol.

Can you agree the biggest concern is secondary help and D line?

It sounded like secondary played pretty well today, but that might just be because Foles overthrows all his targets lol.

Sorry but I don't accept this. Since you are apart of the clique we need at least five members to make separate threads about how good Cutler is playing in order to accept this

Unlike onebud34, some of the others will make excuses and talk about how the defense plays on both offense AND defense and carries the team. Instead of actually being happy to see the Bears WIN, they care more about personal predictions. I'd like to see that too, but I doubt they'll do it.

I think Dline depth is a concern. For me it's ILB and Guards. Slauson is playing well but past him there is no one

QB is still a concern if you've watched Clausen play.

I'd love another pass rusher. I still believe Houston deserves more playing time. I'm shocking acho and young play more than him. Dudes been on a tear whenever he's in

If the Bears can sign Von Miller I'd be for it. The secondary can pull it together I think. Fuller seems to have gotten some confidence back.

That is not how I met him. I met him (first time) at a private New Years eve party thrown by Urlachers brother.

In fact, I honestly don't think I've ever been at a charity event with him.

Well said.

The most overlooked and yet most important stat in the NFL is W/L...

There is the history with Fox. If he was the only big sign in the offseason. I'd think it's a success.

Smart drafts are more important IMO. It's why they were a powerhouse in the 80s and a force in the first few lovie years.
