Zack Miller was a screen play... Langford was a check down.
Just went back and looked at the Langford video, it was a screen called.

You got that backwards.
Just went back and looked at the Langford video, it was a screen called.
And the Miller play was a checkdown. You're missing the grander point..but whatever.
they were both set plays, neither was a check down.
How the play went to him? Three steps and the ball out to Miller. One, two three. I know what I see on the video.
170 of the 258 yards came off of those plays, but him making the right choices in those situations is what should be taken from it.
Holy shit, Miller was the shortest pass catching option out in the pattern. The LB sat down inside on the Jeffery hitch and Cutler "checked it down" to Miller in the flat.
What's your issue?
You're concentrating on all the wrong things here.
This...was..the...point
This...was..the...point
He thinks you saying he checked it down was a negative on Cutler...when you actually were praising Cutler on both of those passes, regardless of the end result
it was, I agree, just wasn't a checkdown.

Not at all, I want Gase to get the credit for the right call. The call was for the out to Miller. Gase's call.
sure I do. Obviously more than you.Great, you don't understand football. Got it.
LOL if you think that's how plays are called in the NFL.
they were both set plays, neither was a check down.
yes they are. They come in with a primary read based on the formation. Option 1 and then 2 and 3 and to the checkdown.
