The GM for philly Howie Roseman just stated in an interview that he feels teams aren't going to give them fair compensation for Wentz, he pointed out that Wentz is a proven winner, still has great physical tools and is a great leader in the locker room.

If he's all that, why you trying to get rid of him?

Yeah, he's so good, they drafted a QB last year who then replaced him in the midst of a playoff race.

They're clearly desperate and going against time with that $10M bonus due soon. Their best bet would've been to fix the relationship if they didn't want to be in this situation, but it's a little too late for that.
