Our mailboxes are about 1 mile from the house. This AM, my wife decides to go get the Sunday paper at the mailbox..She gets in her jeep and when she arrives at the mailbox, forgets to put the jeep in park, and puts it in neutral instead. She exits the jeep, and it starts rolling down the road which is on a slight incline..It rolls maybe 20 feet and the 2 right side wheels start to climb the bank on the right side of the road. They climb just enough so the jeep tips over on its left side. Then she comes to get me..I had to put a chain in a cutout on the right frame rail, wrap it around a tree and then to the hitch on my truck..I used the tree as a lever. I got the jeep erect, but the whole fuckin left side of the jeep is scraped up, and there is a dent in the left side fender cowl..The wheel well extensions are destroyed as is the outside mirror..The canvas roof is torn as well.. There seems to be no mechanical damage, but I tell ya...It was not a good start to the day!

Im guessing maybe 6k in damage,,I coulda kilt her

Now I will watch the Bears suck again

Idk about that rule, but there is the unwritten jeep guy code; If you own a jeep, you must wave at other jeep owners. Works the same way with motorcycles.
