your thread reminded me to replace mine and mine has had the arrow for flow pointing in the wrong direction for 3 months. Am I going to die?

It's 2021 , i have solar panels and in floor radiant heat..........hence the sweaty feet

Do you not own an AC or do you have a large cooler of ice with fans blowing over it?

So the solar panels charge the ????

Do you have sweaty branes too?

duct work is in , i was being facetious when i made that comment , more like grimsonish

You sound like a man who needs air filters for an AC unit you don't have.

I wash mine and put them back. They say reusable ones arent as good as filtering out microscopic particles as disposable ones. However, I do have a vacuum and a subservient partner on a routine schedule for that choir of dust etc collecting.

Anyone used the machine washable ones?

I got spammed by them for awhile and almost bit.

I replace mine every couple of months because dogs and an old house so I do buy them in bulk from an air filtration company.

I would love to buy the machine washable ones so I could trade them out whenever I want and just have two sets so there is always one ready to go. However this is not a conversation that comes up in my circles, so I haven't found anyone else that uses them and if they are any good.

20" by 20" by 1" are literally like 3.00. I buy in bulk and change out once a month.

The thicker the filter, the less air can pass through. Also, clean your coils once a season and you are fine.

I have a new HVAC unit on the roof and I have double 18x18 filters. I get them between 3 and 4 bucks and change them often (60 days or so) but I would love to buy washable and stop trashing out two filters every couple of months, but only if they worked well.

I have seen the spray for cleaning coils and thought about it as I am about a year old on the new machine. Do you get it serviced by someone or do it yourself?
