Hey, lets pass 4 feet behind the intended recipient.... and lets do it over and over again and waste a power play and any scoring opportunities we get.....
I wonder why teams don't run a "behind the net" power play on 5 on 3s. The kill would have the choice of going 4 on 3 in front of the net and leaving the primary passer alone back there or pressuring the guy behind the net leaving 4 on 2 out front.
Edit: Not to mention that it would force the killers out front to choose between watching the puck (and losing location of the other PP guys), or watching the guys in front and losing the puck.
At this point....I mean they couldnt do any worse, could they? Im all for putting our worst scorers together and letting them have a go....again, they couldn't do any worse.
