Notes: Thompson is starting this game.. effectively destroying what little bench Cleveland had for Game 2. Unless shown otherwise this should play into the Bulls favor as they can pack the paint and Cleveland cannot space out (though we destroyed that lineup anyways)

Until we have thrown off our history of losing 4 straight against Lebron after winning game 1, I won't believe we will win another game.

LeBron reading my post

Bulls played good and looked like the better team tonight...however im positive Cavs will step up next game because just like every other time we play LeBron...game 1 is always a "feel out" game

Chris Fedor @ChrisFedor
LeBron on Pau: "Game 1 is always a feel-out game. We will get better w/ it. Pau is a great mid-range shooter and we found that out tonight."

This was apparently the first game Pau has ever been seen despite his 1000 plus games he's played in his pro career. "We found that out tonight".....GTFO, LeBron- you just got picked a part in the pick & roll and couldn't adjust. There were no surprises in what the Bulls did- they methodically beat Cleveland in Game 1...nothing more/nothing less.

LeBrons going to have a big game. I like our chances though as I don't see Shumpert playing at the level he did in game 1. It would be huge if we can get a win here tonight :bullbang:

It'd be huge if we win, but I think Cleveland will take it in a close one as LeBron plays like a mad man and essentially takes over the game.

Matchups are still in our favor, but we'll have to play great D and continue to hit shots.

Historically game 2 has been Lebron's "revenge" game. After losing game 1, Lebron has typically gone nuts in game 2 to beat us.

He's also had teams that could play staunch defense. This one? Nope.

Heat blew the shit out of the Bulls in Game 2 and LeBron didn't have to play much. Shot well from the field though in his limited time. Heat played complete lock down defense.

Here your statement is absolutely true. LeBron shot 33% in Game 1... shot 57% in Game 2 as the Heat won by 10 (Bulls offense died in the 4th). This may be one of the biggest differences in which the Bulls have more offense this series, but their defense is not 2011, but they can still play good D. Meanwhile the Cavs have an all-world offense (well did) but don't have much in the terms of defense.

So who's to say what will happen. We all expect a better game out of LeBron tonight though.

As I stated in a different thread, I've seen this movie before. I'd like to see them come out with the same intensity as they did Monday, but would like to see the bench used a little more. Personally, I think the idea of using the length of Snell on Kyrie in certain spots - especially when Lebron is on the bench. The inclusion of Thompson in the starting lineup means James will be on the wing, which makes him even more dangerous so Butler better be ready.

I don't like doing game predictions, but I'm going to go ahead this time and say it will be a blowout one way or the other. I'm 80% leaning towards the home team, because the Bulls like to break my heart.

Seems most of us here think history is going to repeat itself.

I'm also beginning to wonder what the hell the media is trying to do with all these Thibs distractions.

Bulls win game 1 and all this bullshit comes out again.

This.

It's not the story that pisses me off, because we've been hearing it all season. It was the timing of the story.

I can't speak for others, but history and this team being so wildly inconsistent game to game this season makes me feel this way.

Well that is also true.

The Bulls did win 3 straight against Milwaukee, even if they didn't look that good in games 2 and 3 doing it. They nearly won Game 4 for the sweep before laying that egg in Game 5 which seemed to wake them the **** up.

But its been true this season this team hasn't played with much effort or emphases. I'd like to think its because they were waiting for the playoffs this year, but even if that so, you still gotta win a lot of these games they didn't' during the season.

So we're left with the unpredictability that is the 2014-15 Chicago Bulls.
