Nothing we really didn't know.
Well now we just need to make that stat change to Bulls outscore Cavs by 15 with Thompson and Mozgov are on the court together and it's all good

They were probably playing the bench for most of those minutes. If that's so, I'm not surprised. It also could've just been the run that Kyrie had where he scored like 10 straight points by himself. In any case, I doubt both of them being on the floor really makes them that much better of a team. The only thing with them is keeping them off the offensive glass. Easier said than done with how this team rebounds.:snoop:
Isn't to say that lineup scares me at all, because the Cavs cant' spread out and then it doesnt change anything for the Bulls other than they can't own Mike MIller, who probably won't play again..
Also not factored into that stat is the lineups of the Bulls/Cavs on the court at the time. 15 minutes is a small sample size.
During the season, those two had a negative Off/Def Rating together.
Bulls need to treat rebounding much how like they did against Milwaukee in Game 6. I have noticed Dunleavy is going for defensive rebounds more than in the first 5 games.. Game 1 was much the same. A few loose balls got away to Cleveland and of course missed layups with a tip in count as o boards, so there's always a lot of contested shit. But those loose balls the Bulls need to grab. Just makes things way easier all around. They were probably playing the bench for most of those minutes. If that's so, I'm not surprised. Apparently you haven't paid attention to Thibs coaching style since he started coaching the Bulls in 2010.I'm not going to belabor the point, but Butler simply cannot guard Lebron like he did in the first game. He is getting worn down. Even the commentator mentioned that he said that he is drained. I don't get why Thibs is doing it this way.
That should be the only real adjustment. But if the refs aren't calling anything its going to lead to a lot of frustration from the players. The attempts were way too low last game for a team that has done a great job getting to the line this season. Rose of course still gets zero calls.Random thing I remembered from the last game...if we can get to the line a bit more that'd be great. I know it's Cleveland and Lebron never gets called for fouls and whatnot, but if we're attacking the basket, there's a chance we can get Mozgov or Thompson in foul trouble and force them back into that small ball lineup that we destroyed.
Normally I'd attribute the low foul shots to getting shafted by the refs in Cleveland, but that game they just didn't really attack the rim. Rose did get the shaft a couple times anyway though. :fist:That should be the only real adjustment. But if the refs aren't calling anything its going to lead to a lot of frustration from the players. They should still have had 20 foul attempts by the end of the game including the fouls to stop time at the end. ONly 10 attempts up to that point was just too low. I think with Clevelands adjustment they need to attack the hoop more unless pick and pop is still there all game long.Normally I'd attribute the low foul shots to getting shafted by the refs in Cleveland, but that game they just didn't really attack the rim. Why fix it, if it ain't broke. Until they can guard the pick and pop - keep going at it.They should still have had 20 foul attempts by the end of the game including the fouls to stop time at the end. Well the pick and pop is set up by attacking the basket off the pick also so...it's all related. But yes, milk the pick and pop until Cleveland proves they can stop it.Why fix it, if it ain't broke. Until they can guard the pick and pop - keep going at it.
I expect Cleveland to have an adjustment to it.Why fix it, if it ain't broke. Until they can guard the pick and pop - keep going at it.
And if those adjustments do not work?I expect Cleveland to have an adjustment to it.
Then we winAnd if those adjustments do not work?
And if those adjustments do not work?
Yeah, pretty easy.Then we win
