I'm not going to belabor the point, but Butler simply cannot guard Lebron like he did in the first game. He is getting worn down. Even the commentator mentioned that he said that he is drained. I don't get why Thibs is doing it this way.

ill give you kudos for sticking to your guns on your beliefs, even after being proven wrong in game 1 lol

butler WILL be on LeBron and it IS the best course of action

Perhaps you haven't seen Mirotic guard on the wing.

Butler is easily the most important player for this game. IF he can keep up his energy, then Bulls win with the same way they did in Game 1. For his sake, I hope Thibs puts Snelly cat on him. I can easily see Lebron being more aggressive and trying to take over the game, so Jimmy better have ate his Wheaties.
Other than than, I hope they just feed Pau. There were times yesterday where it looked like he passed just because he was tired of taking the same open shot.

really hoping that is sarcasm. LeBron would be licking his chops having niko guarding him. and that's not a knock on niko....he shouldn't be expected to guard LeBron anyways

I know we were joking about it, but there were a couple plays where Noah had Lebron, and he played him well. I dont think he scored on him at all.

I am definitly not encouraging that, just saying that its not like Jimmy's our only defensive player.

No sarcasm at all. I want Lebron SWARMED at all times by the likes of Niko, Noah, Taj, and Gasol. Shit throw Nazr out there sometimes. THAT'S 30 FOULS!!!1!! Butler has proven many times over that he can't be an effective scorer when chasing around Lebron.

Send Lebron to the ground 30 times. Guaranteed victory.

he outscored "the king" in game one  if butler negates lebrons numbers with his own, that is a huge win for the bulls

If you count assists, Lebron still wins points responsible for :troll:

Well by that logic if you factor in Lebron's 15 rebounds then the world explodes :reptar:

one thing that stood out to me looking at the box score just now that I didn't noticed before, was that jimmy finished the game with ZERO fouls on him. so he guarded the best player in the world and held him to 19 points on 9 - 22 shooting without fouling him, and yet people on here don't want jimmy guarding LeBron?!?!?!?

:gtfo:

Dude, there are at least 3 more games in this series. If you think Butler can keep this up, you're cuckoo.

Mirotic + Noah + Gibson + Gasol + Nazr. Really, anywhere on the floor.
