Still hype from last night. Of course, opening facebook to a flood of replays of DRose serves as a good reminder. At least we broke the trend of losing 4 straight to Lebron. Now let's see if we can break the ABC curse.

Anyone know what Noah said to LBJ that "crossed the line?" He made it seem like it was about his kids.

i for one am happy we finally won more than 1 game against LeBron

#progress

i Agree. Its at least a series and if Kyrie really is hurt and will struggle, this may even go 7. I just have a had time believing they can keep beating LeBron. I only wish they could have beat them once in a series against miami

If Kyrie is limited like last night, this could be over in 5. The Cavs shot an ungodly amount of 3's and made them. Thibs will make adjustments to that, especially given the fact that the Bulls were the best at defending the 3 all season. The Cavs need a 100% healthy Kyrie to stand a chance of coming out of this series right now. This is not the Bulls of old and these are not the Lebron teams of old. This is the best Bulls team to ever face Lebron and this is one of the worst Lebron-led teams to face the Bulls in the playoffs. The scales are tipped in the Bulls favor, now more than ever.

The Bulls have only lost 2 quarters in this entire series (1st quarter last night & 1st quarter in game 2). The problem with game 2 was that they let themselves get into a giant hole which is almost impossible to crawl out of in the playoffs. I attribute that terrible quarter and loss to the stupid mentality the team has had at times where they think their offense can overcome playing any semblance of defense. After the way they played on D last night, I think the team has clearly gotten the message. Now they need to tighten it up on the perimeter and this should be over in 5 or 6 games. I'm sticking with my pre-playoffs prediction of Bulls in 6.

So reading into the stat line...

Cavs went hard into their 8 man rotation for this game with JR Smith back, which means guys like Bron, Thompson, Irving are going to wear down quicker.

Cleveland hit a staggering 14 three's in this game. That was on 34 attempts, which is a lot.. still 41% from the field. That's really fucking good for the second game in a row. Overall Cleveland only shot 39% from the field in the game.

The Bulls shooting overall was awful. 38% from the field 28% from 3pt land. What kept the Bulls in this was offensive rebounds and obviously not turning the ball over.

So perimeter defense still needs an adjustment and at some point the Bulls will have a better shooting night against this team.

And Niko should see a lot more playing time especially if Gasol is limited. If Gasol is out, obviously we'll see a ton of Niko. 12 points, 8 rebounds from him... He did have 5 fouls though and only hit 1/4 from 3... but those points will come for him. He also got to the line a lot.

Brooks is in a shooting slump. 1/7 yesterday. Though most of the team is in a slump.. but still.

This is how the Bulls have to play though. Limit the turnovers, play great D in the paint and have efforts like this from Rose. I sincerely hope they play like this again, if not better for Game 4.

The thing about the Cavs 3 pt shooting is that LeBron was 1/7 and the rest of the team was 13/27. LeBron was 10/11 at the line though. He was gifted a couple of calls.

not sure if its what LeBron is referring to, but I could read noah's lips at one point and he said, "**** you, you lil *****" at one point to LeBron as he was walking towards him

I have friends (not close friends, but Bulls friends/work related friends) who sit behind the Bulls bench and this was said a few plays before the T on Bron.

Jo said, "You shit pencils."

This is a Cameroonian saying (if you recall Jo's Grandpa is from Cameroon) in which your character/morals is/are judged by the size of your fecal droppings. So in Cameroonian sayings- this is as bad as you can get in regards to a calling out one's character.

Jo said this knowing LeBron knew exactly what he meant. If anyone thinks it was "**** you" or "you're still a *****" that set off Bron you couldn't be more wrong. Jo has said those types of things to Bron multiple times for like the past six years multiple times a game.

The Cameroonian character call-out got under LeBron's skin big time.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but game 3 was the first game all season the Cavs lost making 14 or more 3s.

He's 100% right. .Hinrich should not be in the game then. Snell is a much better option to guard JR.
