Raanta couldn't possibly lack the heart that Crawford is showing right now. Might as well -- somebody needs to light a fire under their ass.
Crawford lost his composure in game 2 and has not got it back yet. At least twice he has simply thrown up his hands on a goal that had rather than an anger more of a helpless panic feel to them. You can't blame it all on him though like I said. He played like shit, but so has the rest of the team. No heart, no urgency, resignation of defeat etc. Not to mention scoring 2, 2(garbage 3sec left doesn't count), and now 0 won't cut it even if the backend wasn't in abject collapse.
I can take losing, but I'm actually shocked at how soft the team has looked, mentally and physically in the process this series. That concerns me more than simply getting knocked out of the playoffs. Tells me there are some pretty deep issues that need to be corrected to keep this bus rolling over the next few years.
