**** the refs and **** whoever didn't pick up the puck off the face-off win before Rozsi's penalty


We just gifted them the first three goals. Thank god for the next two goals, I wanted to smash my TV

I'd like to see the Hawks get up big in game 6, and then Versteeg goes out and just ends Ribeiro, getting suspended for the remainder of the playoffs. That would make my weekend.

I'll take that. I would also take Seabrook stepping into guys again like he used to and not get suspended this time. Honestly the Hawks let Ribiero walk all over them tonight...a hurt Ribiero at that. How pathetic. Same with Colin Wilson...hurt...Fisher...hurt...owned the Hawks in that 3rd period. Step up on these ******* and make it hard on them as much as they have been making it hard on us esp Ribeiro.

I need Seabs to get angry and pissed again like he usually does in the playoffs. Not going against or calling Seabs out as he has had a good series but I just want to see him **** someone up again to put the cherry on top. That would make me even more Seabs happy.

Versteeg is the odd man out. He is horrible, and TT can replace him without missing a beat.

At least Bickell is getting credit for running into people out there. Versteeg just turns over the puck every time it touches his stick.

My belief is that Bickell isn't doing anything that Desjardins hasn't done?

Islanders have what some consider the best 4th line in hockey this season. I would agree with that thought tank.

Did you watch games 3 and 4? Hawks 4th line aren't a problem. In fact game 3 they were very very good, game 4 they were also good. Not sure if they deserve much blame for tonight either. 4th line has been much better since Nordstrom sat and Desjards was put in. Q is well known for putting his 4th line out after goals against or after scoring goals also as do a lot of teams. It isn't specific to the Islanders..they just have a nasty good 4th line that is a lot better than most teams including ours now. Hawks used to have an incredible 4th line. 2010? Best 4th line in the league. 2013? Probably again the best 4th line in the league. This year? Its been up and down mainly because of Q's obsession with Nordstrom. Now that he is benched most of the 4th line mistakes have been corrected.

Wanna talk about line issues? Hawks 3rd line is the one that doesn't feel right in my opinion. Probably the strangest 3rd line in the last while. Lots of bouncing of players off and on it this year. Don't think that line has ever been properly delt with this year.

I did, I saw the third game in person and then on TV. The 4th line was on the ice for both NSH goals. They were also on the ice for the first goal today and the face-off before Rozsi's penalty.

They're good offensively (for a 4th line), but they're a liability on defense. I'm not an expert but I think the opposite is preferable

There are a thwack load of game samples also where the hawks have come back and won games. Did you miss game one of this series? Dont tell me you forgot about a game that only happened a week and a half ago that completely trumps your theory here.

Lets not get into coming back from behind in series either which is even more important. Hawks have done that many times with many recent examples.

I have called for dropping saad off the first line and putting sharp there a few times lol. I dropped that idea because the top line has been playing pretty damn good..even saad who i have well known issues with has been good this series.

Yah still wouldnt mind seeing sharp on the second with richards and kane.

Third line is interesting for sure. Lots has been going on with it esp with kane back and vermette back on the roster. It feels like the third line is in preseason sometimes trying to find its personality if that makes sense. Dont think its been stable much all year. Versteeg has def been one of the reasons, q another, sharps slump this year another, bickell has confused it at times, TT. Been so much bouncing of that line all year.

But still up 3-2 so i guess no need to make drastic changes. Maybe its something the coaching staff needs to think about stabilizing next series though before it gets out of hand. So far im good with vermette there though.

What sucks is usually the Hawks PK balances out the shitty PP. Thats not even happening right now so it makes the shit PP even a fuller diaper.
