Versteeg is the odd man out. He is horrible, and TT can replace him without missing a beat.

At least Bickell is getting credit for running into people out there. Versteeg just turns over the puck every time it touches his stick.

Bickell also got the secondary assist before screening pekker scramble on Seabs OT goal.

There are a thwack load of game samples also where the hawks have come back and won games. Did you miss game one of this series? Dont tell me you forgot about a game that only happened a week and a half ago that completely trumps your theory here.

Lets not get into coming back from behind in series either which is even more important. Hawks have done that many times with many recent examples.

Hawks 3 goal comeback in game 1 was the first 3 goal playoff comeback by the Hawks since 1992.

The Hawks have two Cup since 2010. How many do the Bulls have since Jordan left?

Guess you didn't watch game 1.
Down 3-0 to win 4-3 in OT.

Even at 60%, Kane is better than anyone on either squad.

Imagine if they let him skate w/ headphones on saturday, ger a little swagger going...

Whole team is going to have to come out the dressing room with aggression if they wanna put this thing away.

Or they'll lose games 6 and 7, then we'll have some dandy conversations about "what went wrong."
This series should be a huge eye opener on what's ahead for this team if/when they get to round 2. Minnesota showed that Dubs isn't Superman, and the Blues (save last game) can be very anemic on offense as well.
We also have seen the Hawks turn it on against teams like LA at the end of the year and completely dominate. If they can have a good special teams performance in game 6, the series is over. I'm just glad puck drop is at 7pm. We might be able to be home by 1am.

Another good game by Timmonen last night. He's had three pretty strong games.

Good way to reward him by giving him eight minutes of ice time.

Missed the whole damn thing but is his skating still improving? I saw a few flashes of his speed earlier in the series, and I keep hoping we're going to start seeing more than just flashes. Think he could be a huge X-factor in this series and future ones.

the triple OT game he got 12 minutes...12 minutes in a game that lasted over 100!

At some point you can't say he's working his way back into shape. You've gotta turn him loose.

Unless Q is so terrified that he's going to give up a goal against ... although that worry should be focused on a certain other 35+ defenseman the Hawks have.

I agree. I don't understand it at all. Rozsival hasn't been any better, and he's getting massive ice time.

Maybe its because Timo is old as grandma farts and couldnt handle more than 3 minutes a game?

I agree though hes had a strong series and deserves way more ice time. Q is screwing the pooch on that one. But then you just know once he cracks the 15 minute mark hes going to look like the old **** that he is right? But anything to cut rozis minutes down is a good thing before he takes more stupid ass **** interference calls at the worst times possible. Dumb **** rozi has a really good game 4 then goes and fucks the world in game 5. Standard dip shit Rosi...Timo should indeed be getting some of his minutes and I am still always ready to see Keith and Seab reunite...but that would mean Rozi playing with Timo...eeeeeer Timo dont deserve that shit in his life.

Seriously though. We really dont know what the true stamina of Timo is. There is a chance that Q is communicating with him as all coaches do with players and Timo isnt confident in playing more minutes himself. Dont always have to jump to the idea that all ice time minutes are a direct result of Q just playing favorites. I know it looks that way with Rozi and it angers all of us but **** if we all know whats really going on with Timo. My actual guess is that he isnt at 100% anyways. Maybe the low minutes are all Timo can take at the moment. Dont forget he wasnt healthy at the end of the regular season and still a guy that didnt play this year due to blood clots. Hes old guys..good with the minutes he gets but hes old. If that is the case maybe Q should be playing 7 blueliners and bench Versteeg and double shift a few forwards more? Ewwww would mean Rundblad though.
