You posted in a game thread that said the Hawks played a prevent defense in the third period of a game
(which they won, by the way) where they had multiple odd-man rushes, which would indicate the exact opposite of sitting back and playing a prevent defense. And when everyone disagreed with it, you called everyone homers.

Funny how the term Homer is being thrown around....here's a definition from the Urban Dictionary that might fit someone on this board.

homer

A knucklehead or idiot who's ignorant of the world around them. They lack self awareness and are oblivious to what they say and their own actions.


When someone walks into a conversation claiming not to know much about the subject then proceeds to name call the very people he's trying to learn from makes that person a ''homer" as in reference to the above meaning of the word.

I got two things they need to do to win.....one of them I'm tired of typing.

For the upteenth time, pepper Quick with high shots....nearly every goal the Hawks have beaten him with have come that way.

Not much different than good defense in the NBA.....challenge the shooters, no free rides, make them pay to get a shot off...5on5 or on the PK....

ESPECIALLY ON THE PK!!!!

That said, when I bitched about poor play, I couldn't have been happier to be wrong. I honestly think about that comeback every time I put on my 2013 SC Champs shirt. Lots of good memories last year.
