Did any of us really think that this team was gonna contend? I sure didnt. This might be a good thing, that maybe this organization wont continue to overrate itself....they win this series & play well in the next, who knows what? But NOW they know some things about this team....they need a goalie, they need to dump the useless shit Bowman signed last off season and they need to get bigger and faster.
Only bad thing about this early out...there's 3 months of fucking Chicago baseball to suffer thur till Bears Camp starts.

I never expected a deep run, but I did expect a first round win considering where we were last year (much less talented Hawks team last year and tougher opponent that they took to 7).
I don't think that was too much to ask for with this core. Coaching will be scrutinized, as well they should be (which was also a topic for discussion mid season).

Being a Chicago fan, you just know. The last time I was a baseball fan in 2003 when the Cubs blew game 6...they still had Wood going at home in game 7...but we knew it was over. I'd say the vast majority KNEW they had no chance in game 7. Same thing here....
