He lives in Canada and made an observation in pricing being much lower in the US. We may have cheaper gas, but healthcare, not so much. Sorry to get off track....like that never happens around here.

Ares won't blow a vessel. He might kill about 200 pigeons on his way home but that's it.I guarantee you don't want our healthcare either.
Back to gas before Ares blows a vessel
I get your notion.... lol its just the comparison you chose was guaranteed over the B&I line.
It is too easy to morph any topic in the bar into an Obama/Obamacare B&I thread

Not to worry, there is a growing movement to add additional taxes to your price of gas. Soon the price will climb higher.
I don't see that going anywhere. Not to worry, there is a growing movement to add additional taxes to your price of gas. Soon the price will climb higher.

If we are to have money for road repairs though, the gas tax does need to increase at some point since thats where the majority of funds come from, and shits just getting more and more expensive to do every year (what those reasons are vary though).
As I said, the reasons vary, meaning that in some cases its misspent, politicians send it elsewhere (much the same problem as Social Security), or funds are corrupted meaning a contract is awarded to the highest bidder and the money mostly goes to the higher ups instead of actually building the road and paying the workers for that road. And in some cases, states just don't bring in all that much.I just saw a news article somewhere the other day that says the money we currently collect on gas taxes for roads is being misspent...One example was that some state got a Transportation Museum paid for out of gas taxes( I wanna say Tennessee, but Im not positive)..Maybe if our government actually used the gas tax money to repair roads instead of pork projects, we wouldnt need a tax increase?
