He is a monster. Built straight from and Iowa OL factory. Did anyone watch him push the pile twice as the Center? Our starting OL with Kush looked terrible tonight. I know we have people who have a hard on for Kush, for whatever reason, but he's nothing more then a solid back up. IDC if Daniels plays Center or Guard, even though he will be a 10x better Center then Whitehair, just get him in the starting 5. I expect we will hear about some changes this coming week.

God Bless

All I know is that if the bears blow it with Whitehair I'm going to be pissed. I don't know what the **** is wrong with that kid, but he has a full rookie season looking like a stud. Wherever he ends up playing, it is a huge fail for the bears if Whitehair keeps declining..

Massie is the damn problem. He's never been as serviceable as folks thought. He can't pass block worth a crap.

Second-round pick James Daniels made his preseason debut in the first quarter. Daniels played center after being cross-trained at left guard and center earlier in camp.

‘‘I gotta go back and watch it and see the details of his technique, but for the most part, man, I thought he played pretty well,” coach Matt Nagy said. “That was really neat to see. I was proud of him.”

Kush did not look good. I think some of you heard the commentator mention Whitehair when it was Kush with the wiff. Not enough snaps against the same competition to know what's what but I also thought Daniels played well. If this keeps up, he's starting somewhere on the line and Kush sits.

I fully expect to see Daniels get at least a few reps with the first team at center this week.

People (Nagy included) should not be surprised Daniels looked good as we did draft him high and he was supposedly the best center coming out in the draft. One would think he'd be able to play center in the NFL.

Perhaps all this talk about the oline whisperer making everyone on the line great was just a meatballism. One cannot always turn chicken shit into chicken salad.

I think we're going to lack depth on the Oline once again.

Heistand will have these boys cooking in a couple weeks. Massie will have his best year as a pro. It’ll shake out

Yeah, not a good Center.

he can be a pro bowl guard, might be the 30th best center in the league.

It was pretty sad when the center I wanted (Billy Price) was starting for the bengals, but the trade for Miller will pay off.

I just do not understand. Cody went thru all camps, all practices, all preseason games as a guard, then was moved to center as a rookie for game one, but they do not trust a full time center to be able to take over from day one.

So much cutting off noses to spite faces with these bear coaches. They made the decision with Daniels before he put on any bear gear.
