Fuku, Barney, Castro, A-Ram, Pena, DeWitt, Campana, Hill, Z


Quade has fallen in love with DeWitt.

**** Castro in the 3 hole, I hate thyat so much.... Move Barney to 8 and Castro back to the 2 hole. Way better.

i agree....Castro is a perfect 2 hole hitter and thats why they need to go out and get a 3 hole hitter this offseason.

My lineup would be Castro, Fukudome, ARAM, Pena, Dewitt, Barney, Hill, Z, Campana. I would honestly like to see the Cubs go Castro-Fukudome since Castro has developed into a little bit of a steal threat. Having Fukudome who is ultra patient and left handed would help Castro use that ability more.

Have Rami 3 and Pena 4th..that's prooly the best option. With the players in the line-up that Quade has other there, I would rather have

Fuk
Castro
Rami
Pena
DeWitt
Hill (I know it's higher but if Soto was in, this is the spot he would be inserted..aslo speed at the end may bring Z up with people on base, Campy can find a way to get on base and Barney can)

That is why I want Campana batting 9th. Minimizes the fact that he can't get on base, and if he does somehow manage to do it he is essentially a second leadoff hitter at that point.

I would like to have Z hight too but I know that's not gona happen so I was trying to be more realistic lol.

I know Quade won't do it, but Campana is exactly the type of guy to pull a LaRussa with. Popping Soriano and Soto in place of Dewitt and Hill and that could actually be a fun lineup to watch.

I agree with this lineup except I would flip the top 2. Though with Campy hitting 9th kind of makes sense to not hit two leftys together.

I just absolutely love Fukudome in the one hole. If we were smart enough to hit a fielder 9th Theriot would be such a welcome addition to this team at 2B.

Well no offense, but none of this is really realistic because the lineup has already been made.

It's all just for fun anyhow.

I just like having that 9-1-2 of Campana, Castro, Fukudome. Campana can steal in any situation so having a right handed free swinger doesn't hurt him. Fukudome is exactly the kind of guy that would work well as a 2nd hitter with being patient and left handed.

I agree though that is nice to see a Cubs manager finally put Fukudome in a spot in the lineup that utilizes his best offensive skills.

I was guessing cramping when I saw him come out. I suppose this isn't terribl enews since it means he probably isn't going to miss a turn.
