i feel like you have to change and limit your play calling when the incompetence at QB is that bad.

I guess we will find out, but that's why I brought up foles.

I don't hate nagy but he's had a ton to work on as a coach. Hopefully he knows that.

To me he seems like a egotistical douche who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. I still have faith in him, but I also know he did a lot to contribute to us sucking balls on offense.

Yea, after he decided not to move the ball up and kick a field goal.

Great strategy!

I think nagy can be a fucking moron. I also think there is an extreme amount of football knowledge inside of that head of his.

Point being he needs to learn how to be a much better coach as well. He's got it in him because he schemes guys open all the time but he's terrible at certain aspects of playcalling.

State of Illinois v. Trubisky has been decided. Let’s let any topic with his name die. He is a 3rd string QB and we have Justin Fields ?

How do you “finally figure out” half way into year 3 that you need to run the ball more? Anyone with a brain should have figured that out long before season 3 lol…I mean literally the entire fanbase recognized the issues in season 2. Nagy has a hard time learning from his mistakes or admitting he makes them.
Why is this still a thing?

The Bears have easily been in the top half of the league over the past three years in % of running plays, despite having one of the worst run blocking O-Lines. You could easily say that the Bears kept running even though it didn't work.

It's like people look at the 2019 Packers opener and attribute that across three seasons in order to flame Nagy. If we had ran more the narrative would've been that we should have passed more and see what we had in Trubisky. There was no way of winning over the fan base.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bears
Fellas, Nagy and Mitch can both suck at the same time..
This. One down and one to go. :ROFLMAO:

I'm kinda trying to give Nagy the benefit of the doubt, and hoping like hell that Fields can put a band-aid on Nagy's glaring problems. Reality is going to hit me at some point, though.

Foles said he knew when the play comes in that he wouldn’t have enough time to get the play off. He also roasted Nagy on the sidelines for not continuing to push the temp in the red zone when the defense was on its heels and the bears were marching. Instead Nagy brought in a different personnel groupings allowing the defense to sub, and the bears didn’t score a TD. Nagy wanted to get in one of his genius red zone play calls in and shockingly it didn’t work.

Hes very good at being politically correct and not throwing players under the bus so not surprising here.

What's next ? Covid 19 was developed in Nagy's kitchen?

..the commentary in the first few mins is the worry. Nagy's strategies. What he wants to do vs what the offense SHOULD be week to week and opponent to opponent.

@ 6:45 Wanny also makes a really good point about tying to see the whole game while still being a HC/ play caller

I remember watching that show, and at the time I was still hoping that Foles would be better, but these guys made me understand that the team is not good, and Nagy was making them worse....

Right. But now Mitch is gone, and Nagy has his 2nd wind. So we should be good.
