We shouldn't just be upset about not having Gordon any more but also that we let him go to the Pistons. to me thats the salt in the wound.

If only jerry reinsdorf was as passionate about the Bulls as he is the sox

Why was it BG fault that Hinrich decided to player like guy who played at the Y, Wallace quit on the team, and team quit on Skiles? When did anyone say we trying for him to be our best player. I think most of us want him to be the 3 best or at the greatest the 2 best

So does a degenerative alcoholic gambler, but you can keep buying the lottery tickets everyday, it doesn't mean you will win.

You do realize great players like Lebron, Shaq, Wade, Kobe and KG have missed the playoffs once in their career too. You still need other talent around a good player. BG isn't on their level but you can't blame him for missing the playoffs since he really didn't have much of a drop off that year and everyone else did.

BG has just been the best player over the last 5 years. And is that saying much, no, because the Bulls only have 1 series win to show for it.

The point is that BG should be the third guy on a contending team.

My vision was to have Rose as the best player (which he will be next year whether Gordon stayed or not), add one of those big men and Gordon would have been the third scorer. Or second depending on how much of a scoring load Rose took on. but now you lose a pice in Gordon that will need to be replaces. And if you say Salmons is they guy, okay. But guess what, you'll have to pay him the same next year if he produces like he did in 08/09. And he might be even more because they'll be tons of teams with money to spend next year.

They paid Hinrich, they paid Deng, they paid Nocioni. But for some reason they don't pay the best player of that bunch. Someone needs to tell me how that makes sense?

In all seriousness I agree with DPauly. They have had a plan for the last 3 years, problem is none of the piece have fallen exactly as we needed them too. We have needed a big man for 4 years. Now we need a 2 guard too. If we walk out of 2010 with nothing, we can look back at how we passed up on a sure thing for ALOT OF EXTRA MONEY.

On the bright side, cap space is a much better defender than Gordon, although I'm not that sure about cap space's scoring ability, and ability to step it up in the clutch.

I dont care how people want to spin this. We are definitely worse off without Gordon. Plain and simple. We arent going to replace 20ppg just like that.

What really hurts my heart is all the people who wanted Gordon gone, are going to be silent when we are 10 games under .500

They will complain about how crappy the team is and they will make it seem like they never said they wanted Gordon gone.

What irritates me is I have seen this before with Tyson Chandler.

Everyone wanted him gone and said they were glad he left. Till we had Ben Wallace and we proceed to watch Tyson avg 12/12 for a top Western Conference team. Then those same guys agreed that we should have never traded Tyson.

Im going to be so sick.

OMG calm down folks. This team will be fine. We can find a cheap SG who will avg 10 ppg off the bench, combine that with Kirk and John and we will be good.

I wish BG happiness, the kind of happiness Ben Wallace had when he was in Chicago. Ben is dead to me like Brand, Grant, and Curry. Bulls were more than generous but clearly he wanted every last cent.

Bulls didn't even offer the guy a contract. How generous of them.

we offered him a deal twice, sure we pulled it off the table but thats because Brothers and BG were trying to rip them off.

11 mil per for an undersized streaky sgs, yea pass.

The past contract offers don't matter, they're the past. Gordon can't sign a contract that's not on the table this summer.
