The last time I was at fault the guy tried to act like I threw his back out, even though we were stopped and my foot slipped off the brake and I hit him at the blazing speed of 3 mph.

It's an '07 bro.
ty bro...

Not to offend, you cause I know you probably love your truck as we all love our vehicles..But, if the damage is over 5K,I say its a total. 5k isnt hard to rack up with suspension/frame damage which I'm pretty sure yours has...Let me know how close I was please..Hope everything turns out for the best for you

Sounds like the **** that sued me once. James Paige. I will never forget that *****'s name. I rolled into her at the speed you do by letting go of the brake and not accelerating from a dead stop. She got out said she was okay and took my insurance info even though it wasn't necessary so I had a feeling she was up to no good from the get go. Well she arrived at her husband's restaurant and suddenly began feeling ill. *cough* bullshit *cough* She then drove herself to the hospital, LOL. Of course the husband couldn't be bothered with her bullshit. Anyways in the end the jury didn't give her shit other than covering medical cost of a check up. I later found out she is a jobless writer. Fucking writers. Jobless hacks with no conscience willing to do anything to make money. She also had a history of suing for "accidents" like slipping on concrete steps and I forgot what the other case before that was about.

Ouch.

I was just wondering since all the N/S lights on Meacham are left turn on arrow only. Did the cop hand out any tickets?

The only ticket was for his expired insurance card that I know of. Otherwise, I guess it's his word against mine. He didn't admit fault at the scene. There were other cars stopped at the light, including the one he said he swerved to avoid. I wish just one of them would have given me a phone number as a witness.
I'm still kinda of pissed the cop didn't check his phone for texts at the time of the accident too. The cop even had the guys phone in his car for some reason, the screen cracked in the accident but it was still working.

Last week I was a witness to an accident out in Itasca. As I was going through the intersection the guy behind me some how gets plowed into. I don't know how it happened, but what I'm guessing happen is the box truck who had his hazards on (assuming he had no fucking clue where he was) must have gone through the light late and tboned the small flat bed truck that was turning and in turn hit the woman in the van that was also turning.

I pulled over, called 911, and walked over to see if everyone was okay. They didn't need me as a witness due to the intersection having a red light camera that captured the whole thing.

I try to stop any time I'm a witness to an accident unless I'm going to be in harms way.

what part of motorola if you don't mind me asking, only curious because i know a few people who have worked there awhile

I was on Meacham at the first light south of Algonquin Rd. The cross street is call Drummer Dr. Motorola on one side and Embassy Suites on the other.
If they happened to have been coming back from lunch at that time and witnessed it, please do let me know!

Is there a traffic camera at this intersection?.

Unfortunately no.

Figures, and looks like the other driver is uninsured.

All you can do is file your claim and hope for the best, which generally means your rates will increase.

I'm sure there were witnesses, but most people don't want to be bothered w/possible court dates etc. unless it was serious.

Glad you're OK, and best of luck.

I've stayed for several accidents and have only been served a subpoena for one... Two feckin' years after the accident happened.
Fortunately, all I had to do was identify the other driver.
