You blame pippen for that loss in portland when he was 34 and they gave up that 15 pt lead to the lakers. Well what about when the kobe led lakers surrendered that 25-27 pt lead to the celtics in the 08 finals? Before that, no team had ever been able to come back.

You hold pippen accountable for him and the bulls losing to the favored knicks in 94 in 7 games. The same team that the bulls barely beat in 93 with jordan in 7 games. Why isn't grant hill held with the same accountability. He never faired better in 6 years leading the pistons. Where his "takeover games" ability?

Then, to compound your folly by conveniently dimissing the times pippen did take over games.

Even though I showed you that pippen led the bulls to the number 2 ranked defense, led the league in defensive rating, was the top rebounder for SF, led the league in stls, avg a blk a game, made the all-defense team and had the most votes, as well as being a great man, help, trap and full court defender. Your rebutal is that he wasn't a center, and then give credit to luc longley. Friggn luc longley.

I did consider the notion and decided Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson were superior defensive players.

I'm actually with DDF and SP94. This thread ran its course a long time ago. No amount of facts, stats, comparison, video, context, records, quotes, etc will sway these guys into acknowledgeing that pippen was better than what he was able to show.

Id have more respect for a lot of you guys if you'd just come out and say you don't like pippen. The saddest part is that as a bulls fan, I've had conversations with other fans and they tell me pippen never really got the respect and credit he derved from his teams fanbase. And its sad

You guys even go so far as to pick on him. You'd think you guys would be happy that as bulls fans SP94, DDF, and I have been able to present information. That would indicate that under certain circumstances, he'd be ranked a lot higher. I've had similar conversations with laker fans (who are the worse) and even they come off a certain stance that they started on after certain inforrmation is presented. But not the bulls fan that frequent this website. And that's the saddest part. When the outsiders are more willing to concede a pov than the supposed fans.

I already admitted Kobe was a better scorer on more than a few pages on this thread....look back and read....plus I put a few thank yous next to some of your Kobe statements.......plus Kobe has been my favorite player the last 10 years....I was real ticked off when the Bulls failed to get him in 2003 and when We lost ut on getting him because Pax was too in love with Deng..

pippen defended magic well in 91 finals so lakers offense was destroyed by bulls defense. magic was the same as he was before so age is not a factor in this case. bulls won 4-1, what other proof do you need?

The only proof I would have needed was for you to not sleep through Magic Johnson's career...you missed it. You should reserve your opinions for stuff you actually watched. To say Pippen was as good a player as Magic Johnson is just plain silly. And yeah, that's my opinion.

Scottie Pippen was as good as Magic Johnson. Do you know who else was as good as Magic Johnson? Chauncey Billups. He won Finals' MVP. Tony Parker is as good as Magic Johnson, too. And Steve Kerr was a better three-point shooter. Steve Kerr must be at least as good as Magic, too!

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I happen to know Eternity in real life and have done business with the guy.........He has one of the biggest collections of 1980s and 90s NBA games on the planet..........Plus he is one of the biggest Bulls game junkie I have ever met......I used to think I was...........In all do respect, I think Eternityy has credibility....At least more than most people that lives over seas when it comes to Bulls basketball.....He has been very respectful to everyone on this forum.....Hate on me all you want, but lay off Eternity.....He's a good guuy bro....
