Player A has a .252 BA with 10 HR's and an .811 OPS
Player B has a .243 BA with 10 HR's and a .778 OPS
Player B has a .243 BA with 10 HR's and a .778 OPS
You are correct.
Yep.
The player given away for a pitcher who had been DFA'd and now is in the minors after no other team thought him worth even the $20K waiver fee this year.
Who is also having an equal to slightly better season than the Franchises building block.
but would Marlon Byrd be the big difference in the Cubs sucking or not.
Absolutely not. But that is not the point either.
The point is that he is out producing a player who is supposed to be the difference in the Cubs sucking or not and isn't a factor at all.

I think the biggest difference between the two is that I believe we can get more years out of Rizzo sucking it up than Byrd.
Not even the same position,
Byrd blew last year
and Rizzo has a hell of a lot more to learn then Byrd does
You need to make up your mind, half the time past performance doesn't mean shit then the other half it's the be all end all, pick a side and get back to me :enough: :andruw:Doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter.
Doesn't matter.
Relevant points as always.
Absolutely not. But that is not the point either.

Fun Game
Player A Pace for 2013: 22HR 52RBI .216/.272/.382
Player B Pace for 2013: 20HR 61RBI .293/.319/.533
One of those is paid over 17M, while the other is paid just over 2M.
How about this:
Player A Pace for 2013 27HR 99RBI .248/.317/.433
Player B Pace for 2013 25HR 100RBI .247/.324/.458
BTW, 1 is paid 16M for this year.
