Denver was the laughingstock of the NFL week in and week out… they fired Hackett after a 4-11 start. Why is Flus still the head coach of the Bears?

Nope Flus is doing exactly what the Bears need him to do. Play young guys and lose. If this team has 3 wins next year then we can talk about firing him.

I'd actually go one step further and fire him and Poles solely for leaving Fields in these meaningless games behind this shitty line. I wanted losses but it so damn stupid to let your franchise QB take so many hits in a lost season - especially as poorly as they're blocking today. Should've shut him down for the season after the shoulder injury.

Dever is a team with at least some Talent. Poles took this team and broke it down for cap space and some picks, most used on this year. But when you are looking for 2nd round only on secondary (The Bears needed it but not what we wished for as a fan base as a whole) Then every other pick was on older day three level talent rookies, (I'm throwing Jones Jr. in this because most had him as a day three drafted player.) It's a crap shoot and you hope you find maybe 2-4 of those plays to work out. Jones having a bad game to today, but his season has been more up then down. None of his other rookies have seen the field for the Bears in the regular season.

You build through the draft, this is what you get.

What if he was brought here just to be a sacrificial stopgap to get to Payton

This is as embarrassing of an offensive performance as I've seen since the Browns game last year, and I would argue this is worse, given where DET ranks defensively. They are in their last drive of the game, down 31(!) and STILL can't move the ball through the air against a defense that wants to go home. What the ****?!

Flus was a horrible hire in the first place but the expectations are totally different. If he comes out next year and doesn’t at least win 7 games then yea he should be fired.

Come on guys, no matter what you think whether Flus should be fired or not, do we actually believe the Bears org to do the right thing for the team, at any point? Seriously.

Not sure what you’re expecting. The organization is in tank mode. Teams that tank suck. They play bad. That’s what’s happening. Not sure how you can be that upset about a coach who is at the helm of team who is purposely trying to lose. What exactly do you want him to be doing?

And since when do NFL teams sit their QB like this is the NBA? Maybe if they’re in the playoffs and week 18 means nothing they’ll play a half or something like that. If he’s healthy Fields is playing and getting reps. This isn’t freaking Lebron taking the rest of a meaningless season off. Sorry that I’m not up in arms because the Bears aren’t doing something that doesn’t really even exist in their sport.
