How do you know what I or he was thinking? Did you expect him to say he wasn’t trying to win in a press conference? Not really, it’s just your wishful thinking. He even said it himself.
I know that not a single coach would try and lose a game. And will do everything they can to win a gme. That’s the hardest they can, he can’t coach a winning team to save his life. How do you know what I or he was thinking? Did you expect him to say he wasn’t trying to win in a press conference?
Thanks for your concrete thinking, even though I am not even a Fields advocate

The question for 2022 for the organization should have been, how can we support Fields to the maximum so we can evaluate him and determine if he is a franchise QB? The Bears have largely failed to support Fields this year which makes it impossible to determine if he is a franchise QB or not...
You're willing to give up that #2 pick? That's what it will cost at a minimum for compensation to the SaintsYes fire him.
Court Sean Peyton
The idiots on here don’t understand this. He’ll cost valuable Draft capital. You're willing to give up that #2 pick? That's what it will cost at a minimum for compensation to the Saints
I don't think Poles planned for JF1 to be his QB. The complete teardown was going to happen. JF1 was here, so he was going to play without any help and most likely give Poles the draft capital to get a rookie QB that fits his timeline or maybe show something to change his mind.
I would give up fields for him..You're willing to give up that #2 pick? That's what it will cost at a minimum for compensation to the Saints

Clarity on that question allows your organization to move forward with confidence in 2023. The Bears failed Fields by...
How the hell can you evaluate if Fields is the guy or not with those choices and decisions?! Come on man, what are you doing? Oh wait, it's the Bears where decisions made by the front office and coaching staff make no sense, ever. So now we head into 2023 with a giant question mark on whether or not Fields is a franchise QB. This, in turn, makes what you'll do with the No. 2 pick in the draft infinitely more complex. Do you draft a new QB at No. 2? Do you trade out of the No. 2 spot for more draft capital to build around Fields?
- hiring a defensive side of the ball head coach in a league that is built for offense.
- spending their first two draft picks on defense. Currently, the defense is the worst in the league.
- giving Fields maybe the worst WR group in the league
- giving Fields one of the worst offensive lines in the league
I still believe in Fields. I'm not a supporter of Flus and have lost some faith in Poles. In no way should Fields play in the last game. He shouldn't have been on the field at Detroit where the only thing that was accomplished was having your most valuable asset take a beating.
Poles needs to have an A+ offseason. Flus needs to be at least .500 next year. If those things don't happen, you have the wrong guys running the show. Again.
But... I think the Claypool trade is proof that JF1 has altered the plan. Whether it was successful or not this season or next season, it was an aggressive move made to give his neglected QB some help and show of support.Sadly, I'm now starting to believe this.
I would give up fields for him..
