I vote Monty stays in the rotation, and Chatwood heads to Des Moines.
Personally, I have no desire to see a guy in the pen who can't throw strikes. Chatwood has no value as a reliever, IMO.
I am not giving up on him forever. But send him to Iowa and let him work on his control issues. Walking men when you come in from the pen has disastrous results.

2.93 ERA away from Arlington. That is a good sign. An he'll have a heck of a good D behind him. I know this isn't 2012 Hamels, but I expect it's also not 2018 Chatwood. As a cheap move, I like it.

I don't think Chatwood is a better bullpen option, but I bet you're right and they do ax Duensing.

Like the deal. Given his splits away from Arlington, looks like he could be real good down the stretch. Plus, it looks like the cubs got him for a bag of chips. Hopefully darvish can actually did something soon.
