Shoot me a PM with name and number.

It's my friends wife that works there and I don't have her cell number.

I'll have to try to reach him after work to get her number.

Once travel hockey starts for my son (first part of November), things get pretty busy. But I am going to make a big effort to come and play this time. Septemeber or October sound good, but that may be too quick. Obvioulsy Rockford would be my choice because it would cut over an hour off my drive. But I would be open to Chicago too.

I haven't been around much the last year and decided to pop in. This is not the thread I wanted to see. T-Bird and i argued many times here but we always came out shaking hands, respecting each other and most of all laughing at how rediculous the petty arguments really were in the big picture.

It's late in the game but my condolences to the whole T-Bird family

One of the best times of my childhood was when the pond in our backyard froze and the neighbors and us would shovel it off and play hockey constantly. My Daddy taught we to skate when I was just a toddler. Girls playing hockey wasn't really all that well heard of when I was growing up, plus I was too busy with soccer, but Daddy taught me to play. I hung in there with my hockey playing neighbors and could skate pretty well for a chick in figure skates.

I would gladly try to play hockey with everyone, as long as you all promise not to let me get hurt too bad, I have to get married next year!

Location doesn't matter to me, I will be there this time no matter what.

I love all you guys. Your support means so much. I'm so happy my Daddy brought you to us.

We really don't have too much contact normally, and you will probably be able to skate circles around half of the folks that will play.

That said, I promise you I will be Al Secord. Your Magnuson. I will knock around whoever messes with you.

Well, actually, I will probably be more like Koci. I will fall a lot, skate slow, and get my ass handed to me.

I won't be on the ice...but if anyone messes with you...I will be happy to tie the laces and get out there for ya. We got your back.

Just got off the phone with the Hogs and we WILL be doing something in conjunction with them on a Saturday night this fall.

As of right now, they only have 6 of their home dates, so I cannot confirm a date at this time. They expect to have the schedule in about a month.

To play in the game, I ask for a minimum $50 dollar donation to the Have A Skate With Bob Foundation. It is fully tax deductible. Players will receive a game sweater for their collection.

We will play before a Saturday night Hogs game. Players will receive free admission to the Hogs game that night. Tickets will need to be bought for family and friends; the Hogs will donate $5 from each of those tickets to Skate.

I will be contacting the Chicago PanCAN affiliate to help promote the game. If there's no Hawk game that evening, I will also contact John Wiedeman to see if he feels like reprising our on-ice battles from the 70's once again.

There are a few players from KC wanting to make the journey as well.

If you have any ideas, or know potential sponsors, drop me a line at skatewithbob@gmail.com

Wow!

Awesome Klem, you Da Man!

I am here to assist in any way needed. I have a few thoughts that I am going to work on as well. I would rather keep them quiet until I get confirmation. Nice job!

Great news Klemmer! Once you get more info, I will see if I can get a bunch of people together that aren't here on these boards.

Nice job Bob.

Will this be the Tbird event or is that separate?

Our donation to PanCAN from this game and future games in Chicago will be made in Tbird's name.

The donation from KC's game will be in Becky's name.

We discussed Nov 12, but they could not commit to it today.

It will be on a Saturday, odds are good that it will be in Nov.
