I gotta remember that I'm #89. Last year I thought I was 10, then 24. Introductions were not my finest moments...

So since I don't know many of the names on the rosters other than what I can associate with the board and such... where did all these folks come from? You bringing them form KC, local rockford guys? Any surprise players? Minor celebs and such?

Rockford guys, some from KC, us.

Thanks to Mass for bringing up his questions yesterday.

The 7.5% for credit card donations is pretty standard and accepted by organizations such as PanCAN.

That said, when alternatives are presented, I have to consider them.

As a result, when I received notice that firstgiving was raising my admin fee to $500 at the end of this term, I had to find alternatives.

Beginning today, you and your fans can donate safely and securely to Skate through our website via paypal. 2.2% plus .30 a transaction means more $$$ for the fight.

just go to www.skatewithbob.com and click on donate. You'll be directed to PayPal's site. If you don't have an account, there's a link on the lower left of the page.

Thanks Bob! Donation in, the link didn't work right in Firefox but got it to work right with IEtab. When I went through firefox as it took me to a page that said "Sorry- your last transaction could not be completed" the some other info. Probably just my browser though or a cookies problem.

Please note the special instructions for delivery

"This donation is on behalf of Jako, as I want to see him slide on the Ice in his jockstrap."

I think I still owe you like $80 bucks day of for the two of us?

No, only $50 - 2 tix @15. meals are $10 each- you can get them when you get your tix.

Thanks for being the guinea pig- I just saw it come across and was going to ask you about the experience.

I had no issue when using firefox.

Great, worked fine, and just so you know if anyone asked, you don't have to register for paypal to use it. You just enter your CC info in like you would on any other site. And you can donate even easier than logging in. Piece of cake. Shows up on my statement as

PAYPAL *HAVESKATEWI

I want to get jako in his jock, so make sure he gets credit for that one... hah.

DBQHawkFan (Dave Zillig). This is my first time playing. I wanted to play the last 2 years but coaching my son's team got in the way. This year I am missing one of his games to play. I know many of you from the board and from meeting some of you at the 1st convention and a few Hawk games I have made it to. Looking forward to this weekend!! Jako, keep your stick on the ice. I will put the puck on it so you can score!

I will be at the District for lunch, the Hogs game and the Kiwi. Plus I am staying at the Radisson. I am sure I will run into you somewhere!

12:30 player check in. MAIN ENTRANCE – Main and ELM St. Sign waivers, get sweaters, go to dressing rooms. Fan and meal tickets will be available here.

Hey Klem. I know a few people are wondering about this, but how late can players check in? If we arrive around 1:30 or 2:00 we should still be alright to get in the building, sign waivers, get sweaters, get our meal tickets, and get to the dressing room, right? Should we bring fans in the main entrance with us when we arrive and then they can just go to the seating area, while we go to the dressing rooms? Just trying to figure out the logistics.

Thanks again!

Yes, the advanced game players can check in later - your posses will be able to go with you.
