Jimmy Clausen is most likely starting his second game against Oakland and although he has his whole circle of family, friends, and team supporting him there are a lot of people that send him constant negative hate. Those people don't understand that the Bears are already beating themselves up the last 3 weeks for losing every game and although they are confident in winning it would be nice to see some people encourage and support not only the team but Clausen as well.

This isn't about the money. This is about him continuing to work hard and smart and receiving as much support as possible from anyone and everyone. It'd be awesome if some people can be positive about this because I want to see him and Chicago be competitive against Oakland assuming Cutler does not play. If Clausen knows that if a few fans appreciate and support him it would be an extremely marginal boost to his mentality but any boost is a positive boost.

For what its worth hypothetically most backup quarterbacks in Jimmy's spot would have struggled as well. It was his first start of the year and although it wasn't pretty he should not be held accountable for that loss while everyone gets a pass. This game is about the organization and if they win they win together but if they lose they lose together. He will be prepared to play against Oakland and perhaps he won't be as unwatchable this time for you.
