With the hand wringing the NFL types are doing and with the massive attention right now on domestic violence in the league, I'm kind of scared the NFL is going to step in on the Brandon Marshall case in order to make it look like they're doing everything possible to combat domestic violence.

It's all about perception.

This is 5 years old, he isn't accused of physically harming this woman, he paid his due for it when it happened, it depends on what state this is in but the woman was not his wife and the violence did not occur in a domicile. Florio is an absolute whore with this story. Allred is aiming at Goodell here, and Florio calls it "new allegations against Marshall". He has changed the headline to "Gloria Allred blasts NFL for handling of Brandon Marshall case" but then adds a pic of Marshall with a mike in front of him, rather than a pic of Allred posturing.

Don't give credence to this nonsense. Goodell at this point likely can't revisit this case, even if he wanted to. The Ray Rice case is going to review, he has started an investigation into the NFL's handling of the Rice case, and there is no way he will go back and revisit a case from 5 years ago.

Allred is an opportunist, having spent the last few decades on daytime talk shows.
