With the hand wringing the NFL types are doing and with the massive attention right now on domestic violence in the league, I'm kind of scared the NFL is going to step in on the Brandon Marshall case in order to make it look like they're doing everything possible to combat domestic violence.

Good luck with that case against the NFL. The case was handled in the exact same manner that it was handled in all other prior cases at that time. Right or wrong it is a five year old case. She can sue, and probably will settle out of court for some money but nothing will come of this.

If this incident had happened this month then Marshall would be in some trouble, probably at least six games if not a whole year but this happened in 2009, not 2014 and it is a little hard enforcing today's standards on an incident that happened five years ago.
